In Expats own words last night

"Keep it coming, folks. She NEEDS this miracle*.

There is indeed power in our prayers and hopes and love.....and especially the amount of us lighting candles and taking time to just think about them. On my own part, pretty much everyone I know knows about our prayers for Aillidh....so many people thinking of her.

I pray today for continued strength for Expat, continued love for Aillidh, and continued hugs for Giraffes, who is there with them walking this tightrope and being a true angel.

There are no words that are sufficient. Praying for that miracle & sending love & strength to expat, Mr expat & family in their time of need.

I have never met Aillidh or any of her family but for the last few weeks I have followed her story and I have prayed and prayed.

I am still praying for that miracle I am still hoping God will heal this lovely little girl, who I have never met but who I wake up thinking of and I go to sleep praying for.

Aillidh darling, you have fought so hard and for so long, and if you have the strength to carry on fighting then we will be here every step of the way, if you need to stop and go to God then do so knowing you are loved, by so many more people then you could ever know and you will always be in our hearts.
God bless you little one with the heart of a lion

She will be safe in God's arms - Ailidh will be fine - heart is breaking for Expat and family.

Sittinginthesun · 07/07/2012 21:49

Holding you tight, Expat.

chipmonkey · 07/07/2012 21:50

In tears here. But still hoping and praying for a miracle.

4forkssake · 07/07/2012 21:50

Thinking of you all & truly hoping you get your miracle. Sad

Vev · 07/07/2012 21:51

My thoughts are with them all. So sad and unfair after the all the strength and braveness she's fought the battle with. God bless little one.

JustFabulous · 07/07/2012 21:51

Psycho Sad.

Candle lit, praying for Aillidh, Expat and family.

perfumed, I don't want to seem insensitive by responding, am still praying and hoping with every last fibre for a miracle for Aillidh - doctors know a lot, but they don't know everything and they can be wrong. I do know how scary this must seem though if you haven't been there. However, we sadly lost my little brother in similar circumstances. He wasn't in distress. It was calm, he was peaceful, he was surrounded by his family, and it's an experience that I can look back on with pride and love.

Hoping for a quiet and calm night for Aillidh, and that our wishes and prayers can hold her up.

Growlithe · 07/07/2012 21:52

We all pray for a miracle. But it's already happened. She was born. Every child is a miracle, and every sweet moment we share with them enriches our own, grown up, lives so much.

I do not know Aillidh, but the last few days I have felt her presence so strongly in my own life. She has such a strong, deep presence for thousands of people. She is enriching our lives. She is a miracle. Whatever happens, she is a miracle.

ChuckUFarley · 07/07/2012 21:52

I'm praying that whatever happens tonight, God can be there with them all putting peace in their hearts and holding them close. I'm so sorry Expat.

CatherineMumsnet · 07/07/2012 21:52

Thoughts, love and prayers from all of us at MNHQ :(

Lifeissweet · 07/07/2012 21:52

They have all fought and fought and no one more than Aillidh. The poor lamb must be exhausted. Her show of strength has been astounding. She has defied the odds for a long time already, but whatever happens I wish the whole family peace and love. It is simply heartbreaking, but the prayers of hundreds all over the World continue. Bless you, little one.

50ShadesOfSaggy · 07/07/2012 21:53
