prayers, candles, chants, hand holding for Aillidh.....love is a strong force and can make miracles.

In Expats own words last night

"Keep it coming, folks. She NEEDS this miracle*.

There is indeed power in our prayers and hopes and love.....and especially the amount of us lighting candles and taking time to just think about them. On my own part, pretty much everyone I know knows about our prayers for Aillidh....so many people thinking of her.

I pray today for continued strength for Expat, continued love for Aillidh, and continued hugs for Giraffes, who is there with them walking this tightrope and being a true angel.

even tho the medics may have given up hope,we havent and neither has Aillidh as shown by her courageous fighting,am i right in thinking that they cannot do anything without parents permission? i hope that is the case,as i truly feel that Aillidh needs more time....me and dd bought a candle today for aillidh, its a yankee candle and dd chose black cherry,it smells gorgeous, and dd has put it in front of a picture of me and her and we said a prayer for Aillidh to find the strength to carry on fighting and to send strength to expat and her family as well

Rumours · 07/07/2012 15:30

Please, please...let's remember that as much as we would all hope for a positive outcome, there is sometimes a time when painful choices must be made.

We all want for Aillidh to be well, but the evidence from these updates is that she is incredibly poorly. She has very low levels of oxygen in her blood, her organs are failing.

The medics will only suggest a course of action such as this if they feel it is the only way, they really will. We need to allow the family to hear that advice.

Our prayers are so important, but I do think that it is unwise for anyone to be posting that it's not her time, because we are not in a position to know, either in the earthly sense or the spiritual.

puffyankles · 07/07/2012 15:32

Praying.

kohl · 07/07/2012 15:32

Aillidh, my little Mia is patting you on the shoulder as she would do with us. Love and light, we are all with you. xx

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 07/07/2012 15:35

Well said Lougle apart from Psycho and Giraffes none of us are close enough to comment on that, of course we all want a positive out come.

Sending strength to expat to help her to face the terrible situation she finds herself in.

Vev · 07/07/2012 15:35

So, so sad. Whatever the outcome ailliah has fought a battle bravely and her family must be so proud of her. Heartbreaking.

lotuseener · 07/07/2012 15:35

Crying, thinking, praying for expat, Allidh and their loved ones. I have no words to express myself but I am another person here sending love.

slightlycrumpled · 07/07/2012 15:36

MooncupGoddess · 07/07/2012 15:36

Well said Lougle... it must be terribly hard to be a doctor at times like this.
