thought the prophet frenchies stole the show.

kate winslet just looks better and better

and i am SO BLOODY PLEASED FOR KATHRYN BIGELOW. a woman in a man's job who i've loved since she made one of my favourite ever films 'point break'.

But Vanessa Redgrave huh? I bet the deep-cover operative who sits in the gods with the tranquilizer darts was on tenterhooks, waiting for his earpiece to crackle into action ...

luckily she jumped from 1945 to the present day just in time.

ohfuschia · 21/02/2010 23:40

this thread - didn't notice at first it was started some years ago, was reading and thinking 'who could mistake Jude Law for Mickey Rourke, even with the sound down?'

CountessDracula · 21/02/2010 23:42

mickey rourke is tragic

OP posts:
ruffletheanimal · 21/02/2010 23:51

at dh reminding you and the five year thread

brilliant work, keep it up.

MarsLady · 21/02/2010 23:56

Tradition... ah yes... that's what it is!

Heathcliffscathy · 22/02/2010 09:33

ackcherloi i think mickey rourke has successfully made the transition from tragic joke to underdog-won-through-doesn't-give-a-fuck-god-love-him.

with his terrible plastic surgery face and his poor eyesight and his oscar!

CountessDracula · 13/02/2011 22:02
