The whole thing was embarrassing. Kasabian didn't fit in with the tone of the evening at all and Stephen Fry was cringe-worthy. The man's ego is the size of the Opera House, it's a wonder there was any room for the audience. Some of the "humour" was decidedly dodgy, there was no need to introduce the mystery presenter as Tom F%^&&* Cruise and definitely no need to remind us all several times in different ways that Stephen Fry is now a married man. Save those of us who may have been living in a cave for the past month, WE KNOW! The evening looked like it had been pulled together on a shoestring, could have done with a bit more rehearsal and definitely a different presenter! Even the red carpet seemed a bit subdued as if the celebs were all saving their best dress and good shoes for the Oscars.
