Following on from the truly skint thread I bet there are lots of us with things we have that we would be prepared to send to those who are really struggling. I don't want to insult anyone by offering things but at the same time I want to help if I can. I have boys clothes and shoes up to age 5 and black school trousers age six. Pm me. Anyone else have anything

I have a bundle of women's clothing size 12 & 14. Some a bit scruffy, but wearable. I can't exactly recall what is in there but definitely some tops & jerseys.

I also have a lot of underwear (bras mostly) in sizes 34 b & c.

I am in east London, but am very happy to post in the UK

Please pm me. I would love to get this stuff out of the house to a good home.

scottishmummy thats fab information thankyou.

I am actually one of those struggling to meet bills etc each month but always donate anything because I know there are many who are worse off and don't meet them. I get given loads and always pass stuff on. Usually to a lady who is struggling on my street and has a DS 2 years younger than mine.

I also give stuff to the EY dept in the special school where I work - old dress up stuff, toys, wellies and shoes/ clothes etc. They are always handy especially when toilet training the pupils!!

scottishmummy · 19/05/2012 18:22

clearly you have av good heart, think of others whrpen you yourself struggle youarekidding

Lovely thread. I have some stuff but no time at the moment as just had a baby this week! So I will be back once the newborn haze has lifted to the for free boards :) there I've said it so I will have to do it! Stranded bear did you get the shoes as I could quickly have a look for those?

NorksAreMessy · 19/05/2012 19:16

I have a whole bundle of 13 year old boy's clothes. Jeans, tee shirts, long sleeved smartish shirts. All pretty good condition. Happy to post free of charge

NorksAreMessy · 19/05/2012 19:19

Oooh, oooh, and I know how hard it is to come up with presents for mothers, friends, sisters, people who have helped you etc.
I am happy to make a scrummy necklace and pop in a little gift bag so that it looks like a thing.

OR can make a few little girl necklaces for party presents, to save you having to buy them

PM me. This is not a big deal for me. It's what I do :o
