Well; are there?

I had to look up Ramsons. "Ramsons leaves are also used as fodder. Cows that have fed on ramsons give milk that tastes slightly of garlic" ... Automatic garlic butter! I'd like that!

Though maybe not with scones & jam.

It's a white flowering thing found in woodlands. I only know about it because it mentioned in a book by Raymond Williams, trying to recreate the ice age in Britain. (if it ever occurred, that is). Why it's one of these plural singular things, I have no idea.

Oh, I've another one. What really happened to Princess Di(ed) - the driver of the Merc looked up and saw Lord Lucan riding Shergar over a grassy knoll. Yelled 'Wot the FUCK!?!?' and drove into a pillar.

I have no idea.

Ahhhh the truth is between the lines. nods sagely

tethersend · 31/12/2011 01:00

Ooh, just noticed your views on homosexuality on another thread, Rerev.

Could you possibly shine a revisionist light on them? I think perhaps I'm not fully understanding your point of view.

Cheers Smile

I'm still not entirely wure what the OP wants to talk about. Very odd thread indeed.

Rerevisionist · 31/12/2011 12:15

I'm re-posting this list, a bit enlarged...

*There's a Russian school that thinks (something like) official history was invented relatively recently, by literate but dishonest Christians
*And a predominantly French school that claims bacterial diseases are a myth - linked with anti-vaccine people
*Nero as a friend of the poor, misrepresented deliberately
*Marco Polo as a plagiarist who never went to China
*Shakespeare authorship issue
*Cell biology as full of artefacts caused by eg electron microscopy
*Moon landing, 9/11 of course as obvious phonies
*Marxism - @jazzicats - well, a hefty crit of Marxism would be useful - eg the 'labour theory of value' and numerous ridiculous things
*@anniegetyrgun - yes, holocaust revisionism is important as is the whole Jewish issue and it looks as tho it may be coming to the boil
*Education - I'm interested in the idea that primary education was dleiberately wrecked, with ridiculous and unworkable tecahing of reading schemes & I'm trying to air it here, but there are endless people with little info not following the arguments, despite my attempts to make the outlines clear
*Weaponry, militarism, money and their lnks are another topic
*'Skeptics' groups (usually American) that don't focus on anything outside a few topics
*Another of my interests is nuclear weapons and power: Hiroshima and Nagasaki were certainly NOT 'nuked' and there are doubts about nuclear power, too

"yes, holocaust revisionism is important as is the whole Jewish issue and it looks as tho it may be coming to the boil"

Could you expand on what you mean by the 'Jewish issue', Rerev? It's not clear.

Also, if you could clarify your views on homosexuality, I'd certainly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Time perhaps for a Post-Apocalyptic Bumsex thread, in honour of Rerev? Grin

OTheHugeManatee · 31/12/2011 13:03

Or should that be Posterior-Apocalyptic Bumsex? Confused

tethersend · 31/12/2011 13:05

An ill wind will certainly blow then...

Chubfuddler · 31/12/2011 13:10

It's the school holidays, isn't it? Makes sense.

OTheHugeManatee · 31/12/2011 13:13

Tethers - the fallout does not bear thinking about Confused

Rerevisionist · 31/12/2011 14:31

I'm trying to find people with views of their own. I'd be grateful if the spammers would spam elsewhere.

OP posts:
solidgoldbrass · 31/12/2011 14:34

Everyone's got views of their own, buckethead! Some of those views are the same as those of other people, but they are still owned by the person who holds them.

Chubfuddler · 31/12/2011 14:43

I'm eager to hear buckethead's revisionist take on Jews.

exexpat · 31/12/2011 14:49

PMSL at rerevisionist's apparent belief that she is an intellectual. TBH, I'm not too sure about the 'woman' bit either.

Anyway, I've found a website you'll love: Did you know the CIA are covering up the fact that Barack Obama went to Mars (by teleportation) twice?

OTheHugeManatee · 31/12/2011 14:55

Hey. I was making a revisionist interpretation of bumsex to challenge the dominant traditional view of it as dangerous and possibly sinful.

I'm trying to help here, and you just call me a spammer Sad

tethersend · 31/12/2011 15:06

Rerev- I have asked you twice very nicely to expand on a couple of points you made. I am confused as to why you have ignored those requests; it's almost as if you don't want to engage in any sort of debate- surely that's not the case?

Rerevisionist · 31/12/2011 16:30

tethersend - what would you like to discuss?

As I said, I'm interested in trying to find fellow 'revisionists' so don't expect me to be pleased if you waste time like these anal sex freaks.

No prob, Rerev, I'll repeat my questions:

"yes, holocaust revisionism is important as is the whole Jewish issue and it looks as tho it may be coming to the boil"

Could you expand on what you mean by the 'Jewish issue', Rerev? It's not clear (An example of what you consider to be part of the 'Jewish issue' may be helpful here).

Also, if you could clarify your views on homosexuality, I'd certainly appreciate it.

You must decide if those questions are a waste of your time or not; but I will be a little disappointed if you choose not to respond on that basis. I am particularly interested in how you see these two issues from a revisionist perspective.

Thanks.
