Robinsons (horsey stuff).

Not completely let down, but supposedly delivered to our house approx £100 of goods. They say the parcels were left outside our front door, but no card put through. And no parcels.

So we re-ordered the same goods, faxed through the copy, and were told it would be next day delivery to compensate. No delivery. Called the next day - didn't receive fax.

Faxed it through again, this time received, oops, not everything in stock now.

So the delivery finally arrived, missing some bits, qwith 1 day to spare.

It was all for SD who came here for her special Xmas last weekend. But some of her presents will now have to wait until the NY.

NomDePlumPudding · 21/12/2005 11:17

I've also had 3 parcels go 'missing' with ParcelForce, in the last 6 months. About £150 worth . I can only get compo on one because I misplaced the proof of postage receipt and PF won't deal with me. ARSEHOLES.

NomDePlumPudding · 21/12/2005 11:18

I really do think that the stuff in the parcels was nicked by some lightfingered employee.

Enideepmidwinter · 21/12/2005 11:18

dh sent it through his work so has all the receipts

I am so gutted about the picture though. didnt realise parcelforce were so terrible. Although sis says that she has had three parcels go missing with them in the last 6 months.

littledonkeyrach · 21/12/2005 11:19

JoJOMamanBebe.

My stepmother ordered presnets at the beg of Dec for the girls. Her and dad were seeing them 2 weeks later, promised delivery within 10 days, plenty of time.
The day before theis was due, phone call to say they couldn't fulfill the order.

Cue mad panic for my stepmother to try and find another stockist within 3 days.

She did manage, but the item wasn't quite as nice as JMB.

NomDePlumPudding · 21/12/2005 11:19

It makes me so furious.

Enideepmidwinter · 21/12/2005 11:21

the idea of someone opening my nieces picture and probably throwing it out makes me feel sick

NomDePlumPudding · 21/12/2005 11:21

I just fail to see how so many parcels a year are just 'lost'. WTF are they going ?!

Enideepmidwinter · 21/12/2005 11:22

yes definitely nicked

NomDePlumPudding · 21/12/2005 11:23

John Lewis online - ordered a present for my cleaner a week ago. Still waiting and as we go on holiday tomorrow am me thinks it is too late now.

welshboris · 21/12/2005 11:33

ELC ,awful customer service

acnebride · 21/12/2005 11:39

how does this happen? how do they get away with it?

are staff given incentives for time they take to deliver, so that if they're going over time they just chuck everything else in the bin?

any post office MN'ers here?

falalaala · 21/12/2005 11:40

gear zone - my lovely new coat. wasn't in stock but nobody told us, so after a couple of weeks, dh rang. they said couldn't guarantee before xmas so dh cancelled the order and found the same coat on another site, which arrived 48 hours later. a week on, gear zone coat arrived. idiots.

SKYLERtnightholynight · 21/12/2005 11:43
