where is the most beautiful place you have been?

i have not travelled that much. but i know the north of scotland pretty well and parts of the west coast are just beautiful. undisturbed beaches that are just heaven. and it is so peaceful. you could run around naked it bits and no one would see you.

im with you on the north of scotland.... Dunnet Head is a particular fave of mine, not least because that is where we scattered my mums ashes this time last year.

Tiritiri Matangi.
It's an island that's become a bird sanctury off the coast of Auckland. I was there about 2 months ago and it's one of the most amazing places.

jabm. been to dunnet head many many times. i used to live very close to there. it is lovely up there. all the puffins and other sea birds are beautiful

The anse de la Revellata, Corsica. Fragrant bushes of lavender, wild thyme and rosemary on rocky outcrops leading down to the bluest sea and the whitest sand you ever saw. All under a coppery sky with the smell of wood-smoke in the distance. They call Corsica the Perfumed Isle and they're not wrong.

small world!

my grandparents still live there and we love it. So calm and peaceful compared to hustle and bustle down here!

My dad took Jess up there for 10 days in the summer and she loved the beach!

my dad lives up there and my granny lives there too and another few family members. have a few friends up there. i go up now and again to make sure it not changed and it never does really. i know quite a few people up there.
it is a very small world.
