I loved this thread last time someone did it and thought it would be nice to do a Christmassy one.

I'll start ...

I'm mumsnetting doing the last of the Christmas cards (I know, I know, but better late than never!) and DP and DS are eating mince pies in front of the telly.

babyborn is pissing and pooing every where, the pumpallons are deflating.

I have only just managed to sit down and dd has got me watching the birmingham ballet on tv.....snooze time me thinks.

Poor DH is still in bed, I can hear the occasional coughing fit.

DC have just been out in the garden for half an hour's runabout, now we're all watching CBeebies eating shortbread. I'm drinking fruit tea and looking forward to something stronger when DC in bed. By the sound of DH I might be spending the evening alone though :(

DP is cooking chicken/roasting potatoes/chopping veg. I'm on here chatting with you lovely people . No family around us, bracing ourselves to go visit my family tomorrow. We've been drinking fairly steadily since 1pm. I'm with my favourite person in the world. Lovely jubbly. Best Xmas day I've had

Dinner- in oven, refusing to cook

DP- on phone speaking French to the in laws thinking I can't understand what he's saying. I understand enough to know that he's just arranged for them to come over in a couple of weeks

DD- in corner, puce, straining to do a poo. She has a nappy on; my home cleanliness standards are low, but not that low.

Me- on computer drinking my fifth a glass of champagne.

I am cooking turkey and dcs were playing quietly till ds decided to invent some ballgame involving throwing a ball down a passage into the laundry bin

Smashed glass count -1

Chances of ds breaking something (including nerves) -100%

DH and PIL are sat on the sofa watching Shrek, DDs are in front of the fire, DD2 playing on her DS and DD1 asleep.

DH is about to cook a starter for us, PIL have eaten more than half of DD1s Hotel Chocolat chocolates whilst she's been asleep, whether they know that they've munched her favourites I don't know .
Will be filling the oven quickly to ensure DD1 doesn't roast them alive when she wakes up

DD is alternative playing with her vde camera and Sylvanian Families, whilst snacking on chocolates.

DH is watching The One Ronnie whils snacking on chocolates.

I have just been sorting out my iPad settings and now sorting photos onto an SD card for my new digital photo frame. Oh - and eating chocolate :) On MN in between saves onto the card - doing it in batches so takes a while to save each time.

Whats happening right now?

Well DP is setting up his new Connect thingumy for the Xbox. Both kids are playing on thier DS's and after a day of cooking for 9 and visiting my nan in hospital even with a horrid chest infection i am dying on the sofa with my new laptop shivering becuase i have such a high fever

DD is playing her new Toy Story 3 compute game. DH is playing Grand Theft Auto 4 on the embarrassingly large flatscreen I got him for Christmas (saved all year for it, too). I feel idiotic having a TV this size but he has wanted one so much for quite a long time.

I am MNing and having a mimosa polishing off my first bottle of champagne.

It is 12:45pm here. All still in PJs and full of cinnamon rolls and chocolate oranges. In a little while we are off to see Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Can't wait.

Absolutely nothing.
DH & DD have gone to my in-laws and I'm staying here because I'm in work tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get up there when my shift finishes tomorrow if I'm not too tired.
I'm mumsnetting, waiting for DrWho and Eastenders, but considering bed instead.

I can't decide if it's a lovely or depressing way to spend Christmas Day.

I may crack open the baileys and maybe eat some profiteroles. That'll cheer me up :o

Granny's DP hopelessly bored watching service from Winchester but knows he can't say anything.

All too full of pudding.

Washing up only half done...

MIL away home, DD2 in bed half an hour ago, DP putting DD1 to bed just now, getting ready for an evening of telly and wine with DP and really hoping that SIL doesn't take us up on our earlier offer of popping in for a drink....

Mnetting outside DD's room, waiting for her to nod off and for DH to finish cleaning kitchen so we can submit DD's primary school application form.
