OHMYGOD! I'm in Dublin for Springsteen gigs. I have just met some of the band! Steve Van Zandt in the hotel lift(just me, DP, him and a woman), he said it was okay to take a photo, and Clarence Clemons, Gary Talent, Max Weinburg, Soozy Tyrell, Roy bittan in the lobby! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

I am so so jealous. DH bought me the new album for birthday as I did not have it complete (only some tracks on ipod) and an old Blood Brothers docu film about Bruce and E-Street Band re-uniting. Watching it this evening.

I am bloody sure she is having a great time. Have I said that I am ? I should not, as I saw him at Hyde Park few weeks ago, but as its my birthday today would have been effing awesome to see him in Dublin, but getting there from the deepest darkest southwest would be time consuming and costly and as such DH said no!

Last nights set list looked fab. dh's family there tonight, dh setting off at 0630 from llancashire on Tuesday to hopefully get to front of Hampden pit

She was in Dublin and saw him Saturday and Sunday night!!

She texted me at quarter past 2 this morning to tell me he was in the same bar as her after the show and autographed her ticket!!!! Dont think she will need a flight home seeing as she is on cloud nine!!!

FG is Scottish - she is one of the best friends I have met on MN - never met in real life. She went seeing Hue and Cry a couple of months ago. My favourite song of theirs will always be 'looking for Linda'. When they sang it she rang me and just let me listen to them - it was brilliant

Preston - exotic??? LOL. Got some great friends from Preston who we met in Greece a few years ago - we have met up at the same hotel a few times and are constantly in touch - they are fantastic company!

Wow I hardly dare tell dh she has Bruce's autograph! She was planning to queue for the pit for tomorrows show but after all that rubbing shoulders that may not be good enough . We've talked about Bruce loads on here over the past year or two and I know that her passion for him is similar to dh's so I can imagine how she'll be right now!

I like to think we Prestonians are mostly a friendly bunch!

Definitly a friendly bunch. We have had some fantastic holidays with our friends. To the point that when the Preston gang are going back to Faliraki the hotel owner goes and gets one of them there own bottle of Famous Grouse because she doesn't drink anything else Happy Days!!!!
