Swifties, who would like to join me in the countdown to Life of a Showgirl?

I woke up this morning to a slew of messages from excited Swiftie friends telling me about the new album, I hadn't dared to hope it would be here so soon and now I am ridiculously excited and have my vinyl copy pre-ordered already!
My husband, also a Swiftie, had warned me not to get my hopes up ahead of the release of TTPD last year as he couldn't see how it could possibly live up to her previous albums, fortunately he was completely wrong and I consider it to be among her finest work, one of the best albums I've ever heard! I therefore have no reservations about getting excited about the new album. It will also be the first album since our baby was born, though I THINK she's more of a folklore and evermore girl so she may not be quite as enthused by the possibility of more Max Martin and Shellback collaborations as we are.
Even though we won't be getting Reputation TV now, I hope the vault tracks still see the light of day, when you consider the quality of the 1989 vault tracks just imagine what the Reputations ones must be like! I have high hopes that this new album might have been inspired from work that had already begun on Reputation TV.
Anyway, just wanted to come on here and share my excitement with other Swifties. What are you hoping or expecting from TS12?

We have disney+ with ads. Think it's something like £6 a month. I mostly comfort watch the kardashians.

Meantime, has anyone seen clips of Taylor arriving on stage at Jimmy Fallon? Everything I've watched seems to have edited it out. Does anyone have it? Sorry, I know that's a weird question. But it seems odd to me that I'm getting edits with Jimmy dancing and then straight to Taylor sitting down.

I know she's done a bunch of other interviews, but I just have not had time to sit down and watch anything.

i'm still finding it quite strange because the album feels very short! I'm enjoying listening to it straight. The opening of "actually romantic" reminds me of Weezer "Beverly Hills". And for some reason the beginning of "Opalite" reminds me of Gorillaz "on melancholy Hill". I don't think there's a lot of sense to that second one!

I am now officially loving TLOAS. Went out in my rattly old campervan at the weekend with my only Swiftie friend - for those of you still unsure of the album's merits I can highly recommend a long drive with a mate, singing at the top of your voice, as you bounce along the motorway!

And for some reason the beginning of "Opalite" reminds me of Gorillaz "on melancholy Hill".

Maybe it's to piss off that misogynistic twat Albarn. Can't believe I used to fancy him in the 90s.

Thinking of Florida!!! I hope the Florence version is in the new film. Would be criminal to not include her. They looked like they were having a wonderful time together for those handful of shows.

The new eras tour film is the last show in Vancouver. So if Florence wasn’t there, she won’t be.

But she might feature a bit in the documentary I guess.

But has anyone seen AJ McLean on Instagram with his mashup? Taylor has commented on it. I really think that should be a release of some kind. It works really well.
