How to safely get Taylor swift tickets???

Hi all

Have nothing short of a distraught 11 year old. Didn’t manage to get codes or tickets despite trying different ways. I’ve been keeping an eye on ticket master and axs for resale tickets but nothing seems to come up for two together. I’ve had a look at there are some silly price tickets on viagogo :( but I just feel awful that all her friends managed to get tickets and she is the only one without and is a huge fan. Are the tickets on viagogo likely to be genuine or could any be scam tickets? I’m not savvy with stuff like this so want some tips please if possible on where I can try my luck still and what to watch out for. Thank you :)

Not sure if you have managed to get tickets but I looked at Ticketmaster and there are tickets available at Cardiff, selling for £166 each.

Did you have an access code? I just looked and there were none.

Is anyone else getting an “invitation only” message for Edinburgh?

from what I have heard there are tickets across all venues on 'production hold', meaning until stages/lighting/sound is set up they can't be sure if some seats in certain sections will be blocked. Once set up and sound checked (the day before the first performance) it becomes clear which of these seats aren't blocked or only partially blocked and can be sold. Edinburgh will have completed set-up and sold check yesterday so it makes sense.

sorry yes, I know what you mean. I had the Midnights pre-order presale access so I should be able to access all UK & Ireland dates and I also can't get into Edinburgh, it is saying invite only - which is correct you would still need a code. But I only bought 3 tickets so hypothetically I should be able to purchase a 4th at any UK & Ireland location.

Same here. I bought 2 tickets (then very reluctantly sold due to financial circumstances). Didn’t realise that would bar me from buying any others that came up nearer the time😥

fwiw I have bought tickets from viagogo a few times and never had an issue (and have listed them there too - and am not a scammer ). They have also removed the "lead booker" rule at least for Wembley as far as I know (ie they aren't going to be checking IDs of ticket holders).

Now is when the prices on resale sites will probably be the highest (a few weeks before the gig ie when everyone is desperate) - closer to the time things will come down! I'd also try Reddit, and posting on insta / asking people in your wider network ? You never know who might have a last minute clash. Good luck!

yeah, I spot checked one date for each of Liverpool, London, Cardiff, and Dublin and could get into those sales no problem but can't get into Edinburgh which is strange - I could definitely access it last year as Edinburgh was the first location on sale and I went into the sales so that I could get used to the platform and know what I was looking for and buttons to press... to prepare myself to be as quick as possible for when my preferred location was up.

I wonder if maybe we can get in for resale tickets, but not when there are direct ticket sales? I could get on yesterday (but there were no resale tickets available at the time).

I'm completely lost with all of this but hoping someone can advise. If I have no codes etc, didn't buy the album that was released but want to try and buy resale tickets for Cardiff will I be able to do that? Can I just go on ticketmaster when resale is allowed and try to buy them?

it looks like what has happened with Edinburgh is probably that official tickets have been released today, following soundcheck yesterday, but the new tickets are invite only (code needed) which has blocked visibility of resale tickets.
