How to safely get Taylor swift tickets???

Hi all

Have nothing short of a distraught 11 year old. Didn’t manage to get codes or tickets despite trying different ways. I’ve been keeping an eye on ticket master and axs for resale tickets but nothing seems to come up for two together. I’ve had a look at there are some silly price tickets on viagogo :( but I just feel awful that all her friends managed to get tickets and she is the only one without and is a huge fan. Are the tickets on viagogo likely to be genuine or could any be scam tickets? I’m not savvy with stuff like this so want some tips please if possible on where I can try my luck still and what to watch out for. Thank you :)

I think you need a new code because yours has been used?

We gave up, I took 11 year old DD to see Taylor Mania (a tribute - google it, she travels all over UK), she had a cracking night, and was happy. They need to learn to accept you can't provide them with everything.

Viagogo is a risk - lots of people have got in with tickets in other European countries.

The risk with the UK is that they have explicitly said no secondary selling sites and Ed Sheeran cancelled all viagogo tickets for his gigs - always the chance this will be the same. The only thing is that Ed then offered face value tickets in place - so you went to the concert, the viagogo ticket was turned down and then you had to go to a special station and they’d give you a letter so you could claim a refund from viagogo and you could buy a face value ticket.
That’s not bad as you’d get the extortionate money refunded from viagogo and still
be able to go in. Even though the queues are the stations were approx two hours long.
However - Taylor hasn’t said she is doing this so we don’t know. It could be that the ticket transfers to you and you get in. Or it could be that the ticket never transfers. Or it could be that the ticket is cancelled by the venue.

I am having the same dilemma!
I also have someone on fb selling two tickets (she has four and is using the other two) and a massively inflated price. I do think she is genuine (unlike 99.9%) but she is also looking to make some some cash. She has the tickets on stubhub too.
So I am torn there as well.

So if you take a chance with Viagogo, is the danger that you won't get in but will then have your money refunded? Or that you won't get in and will lose the money you paid for the tickets as well?

Icandoitwithabrokenheart · 26/05/2024 10:56

If you go with viagogo you will get your money back if you dont get in. It might not be an easy process but you will eventually get your money back.

Icandoitwithabrokenheart · 26/05/2024 10:57

If you look on fb there is a site called viaNogo and people have had mixed experiences. But people do get their money back if refused entry.

Good luck!

@Lovemylittlebear did you manage to find tickets? Would you be able to go to Edinburgh? I am on a group of fans where members are vetted and selling a bit over facevalue. Obviously always do your own checks too! I managed to get tickets a few days ago.

Be aware that anyone selling tickets doesn’t yet have access to tickets to transfer. TicketMaster sent an update a few days ago saying that the actual tickets for the U.K. leg are’t ready yet and probably won’t be ready until the week of each concert. This means they aren’t transferable until then. Anyone promising to send you tickets now doesn’t have a real ticket.

CaptainCarrotsBigSword · 02/06/2024 18:30

AXS tickets for night 2 Edinburgh are ready to transfer, I got an email Friday telling me I could transfer mine now. So it looks like Ticketmaster are lagging behind a bit. But my Wembley tickets (which I need to transfer to a friend) aren't transferable yet. Looks like it is about a week in advance with the axs tickets.

Edinburgh are ready for transfer and
ticketmaster and axs (the first show’s in 5 days…)

Ratsoffasinkingsauage · 02/06/2024 22:13

Yes but Wembley and Liverpool won’t be. I’ve already seen stupid Facebook posts where people are promising to transfer tickets for Wembley immediately. It’s just good for people to be aware that anyone promising immediate transfers for some dates aren’t telling the truth.

Isitchill · 05/06/2024 08:57

Still checking all venues multiple times a day on ticketmaster. Not a single ticket has popped up.

Given up on AXS as it thinks I'm a bot after checking about 3 dates.

I had Liverpool transferred today

Tons of Edinburgh tickets around, they pop up on twickets and reddit. Can you go this weekend?

Ratsoffasinkingsauage · 06/06/2024 22:36

@SuuzeeeQ Yes, they must have been released this week. We were told sometime in the two weeks before the show.

Isitchill · 07/06/2024 07:14

Suuz no, only wembley I'm afraid.
I guess we'll see if anyone who bought from viagago and stubhub gets turned away this weekend.

I've never bought from a secondhand selling site tbh.

I didn’t either. I did a private arrangement with someone on a reddit group, we facetimed and shared social media/ID and I have the tickets in my AXS account now.

I don’t see how anyone will know you bought on stubhub, tickets have to be transferred to TM or AXS no matter how you got them.

Wembley will be a tough one I think but maybe last minute it’s possible.

@OhMyReallyYouAbsoluteMoose

Where did you see about locking the gates. I am on an eras Liverpool fb group and while there is lots of messaging from council about don't come there has been no mention of gates being locked?
