So ds2 (7) spilt the beans to dh about the tattoo! Dh's response, bless him, was, ' well it was just a question of when, not if. So that's where you disappeared off to yesterday morning. Is this the official end of mourning?' My response: NO, it is the start of stage two.

It's bonkers yesterday at work there was a giant pair of purple sunglasses in the cloak room today in the office there was a bright purple bowler hat hung up!!! Party wear?

Am watching a Coldplay concert right now. It's in Exeter and Chris Martin is singing a song in tribute to his parents and he says he was conceived nearby and said the song was also a tribute to Prince who also may have been playing at the time.He then went on to play Raspberry Beret! I thought, hang on, how old is he? He's 39!!!

I think you have a point Each. I know bands think it's a nice thing to do sometimes but quite often it doesn't go well, purely because the true soul of the song isn't there.

I'm not sure about Coldplay doing Prince - they seem so asexual compared to him (and I used to be a fan of them). At least they didn't do 'Get Off' I suppose

So dh now knows about THE TATTOO! We went to water park with ds2 yesterday & we were in family changing. I'd manage to hide it from him until then! He thinks it was really cool, likes where it is & the colours. Bless him. We had just seen a bloke at the pool with a huge portrait of Hitler covering his entire arm so guess a small Prince symbol etched on his wife's side for eternity is something to be grateful for!! Going on holiday tomorrow & have bought myself a Prince magazine to read whilst away.

Im going into town tomorrow to see if my tattoo and be fixed, (a different tattooist). The bird is crap . Im either going to ask about getting the bird redone or seeing if it can be covered.

Coco did we see your dove? Have you looked on Instagram? #princetattoo has some gems. There are also some examples of cover ups so if you really don't like yours there will be something that can be done. The guy who did mine said that 40% of the tattoos he does are cover ups or corrections. Maybe ask that question when you go in. At least you don't have these!
