Hi all

This is the meeting point for the feedback session with Dyson's engineers on Monday March 10th at 1pm. We hope everyone who has been testing a new Dyson will join us. If for any reason you can't make it please feel free to post your feedback in advance (and send the absence note from your mum to MNHQ ) but we're really hoping for an interactive discussion session, so we hope as many as possible of you will be there on the day.

Thanks!

Ben/Tom - please don't overlook my point re a larger brush attachment for the hose. This would substantially speed up stair cleaning! And with carpeted stairs you do need a brush rather than a velvet pad!

I think i was getting confused on what everyone else was talking about & going off on my own track

SparklyGothKat · 10/03/2008 13:46

thanks tom/ben. Its the main problem I have had (getting it onto the rug) will try reversing on to it (should I make bleeping noises to warn my kids? )

Is it a weight issue as to why the chamber doesn't have a sort of shelf under it like the DC15?

When we put it back on we thought it was on wrong cos it sort of wobbles but then realised why it did?

littlelapin:
Thanks for the info on your stairs. It's a good point.
We've got a test staircase we built next to our office (which doesn't go anywhere!) but it's straight. I think we should build a twisty one!

soapbox,

a wider stair cleaning tool - a good idea and one that i'll pass onto the accessories team, any more accessories that would make life easier?

thanks for that,

tom.

one thing ifound really annoying was the short lead. i live i na small 3 bedroom bungalow,. usually i plug in in the front hall (its a big L-shape hall thats runs from front door, to kicthen, then round to the 3rd bedroom and bathroom). plugging in int the front hall usually gets me everywhere in the bungalow with ease. but now i have to unplug it and plug in in the back hall near the 3rd bedroom to finish down that end of the bungalow. it is a bit annoying, not a major problem admittingly, but still a pain.

also will you make a toy one for my dd3 lol. she keeps playing with mine.

BenDyson · 10/03/2008 13:54

RTKanga

the shelf area on DC15 was the home for the filter, which we have now moved into the ball to reduce the overall height.

sorry back in 5 minutes - baby demanding attention (pesky baby )

wannaBe · 10/03/2008 13:54

I covet

this one

one thing that would be good on stairs would be a rotating brush but not sure whether the suction would be strong enough to accommodate that.

ScoobyDYSONDoo · 10/03/2008 13:55

misdee · 10/03/2008 13:56
