Hi all

This is the meeting point for the feedback session with Dyson's engineers on Monday March 10th at 1pm. We hope everyone who has been testing a new Dyson will join us. If for any reason you can't make it please feel free to post your feedback in advance (and send the absence note from your mum to MNHQ ) but we're really hoping for an interactive discussion session, so we hope as many as possible of you will be there on the day.

Thanks!

Hi ladies

Good to see you all so eager and ready to go! I've had a scoot through your answers and it appears that a few common things are coming up:

Cord length
Stiff hose
Cord rewind
Picking up raisins and peas

I am going to let Ben and Tom introduce themselves and answer these ones first. Feel free to then ask more questions once they've answered these.

Thanks,

Camilla

  1. How did you find the out-of-the box experience and assembling the machine?

Very easy
  1. Did you use the instruction manual?

Yes I found the pictures better than reading loads of instructions
  1. How did you find the following:

a. Bin emptying: Again Very Easy
b. Attachments: did you use them? Yes all of them perfect
c. Filters: locate them OK? Dp did fine
d. Manoeuvrability: get around furniture? Yes brill again
e. Cleaning stairs? Very very good love the way it sits on the stairs whilst you vacume
  1. How does it compare to your current machine?

1,000,000 Times better!
  1. Where did you store your machine? If possible: can you send a picture of your Dyson in its new home?

Can't do a picture at the mo because the cameara is playing up
  1. Best thing?

Suction is unbeliveable it picks up soo much more than any other hoover i have ever had
  1. Anything that you would change?

It has been said on here before but that the extendable handle slots out of place sometimes.
  1. One addition you would make if you were a Dyson engineer?

Can't think of one sorry.

Hi all,

It's Ben here.
I worked on DC22 for nearly a year so should be able to answer any questions on that machine and DC23 I hope!
Any feedback you've got for us though would be much appreciated. Comments so far are really useful to us.
