I enjoyed these, they were easy to read and informative

  1. Were you able to navigate the website easily and find the information you wanted quickly?

Yes, very easy to use

Yes, a broad range was covered so I would imagine there is something for everyone

  1. Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next?

  1. Did you find the Healthily Smart Symptom checker easy to use? If so, what were your favourite features?

It's easy and intuitive to use by choosing from a selection of multiple choices, eventually ending with a suggested diagnosis or action. Unfortunately the symptoms I inputted didn't seem to have any clear underlying cause or remedy, and so it was not really helpful for me.

  1. What did you think of the articles on the Healthily website? Was the information useful and easy to understand?

The articles are well written and engaging. They are presented in a readable format, although at times content was clearly not of uk origin (eg a whole article about buying and using melatonin - there was a disclaimer at the end that this wasn't possible in 'some countries', but a bit unhelpful having articles like this which aren't related to the local context)

  1. Were you able to navigate the website easily and find the information you wanted quickly?

Yes, it's easy to navigate, well laid out.

  1. Was the health content relevant to you and your needs?

At times it wasn't accurate (see above comment). I also didn't find anything new that wouldn't have come up with a Google search, eg I was looking for information about peri menopause, and the information was just the same as is contained in other information sites.

  1. Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next?

No, unfortunately it didn't for me. I inputted three different symptoms which I've been wondering about for a while, and none of them came up with any further information or advice, which was a shame as this would have been really useful!

Ritagcabrita · 04/02/2022 13:46

  1. Did you find the Healthily Smart Symptom checker easy to use? If so, what were your favourite features?

I felt the symptom checker was really handy, especially I enjoyed the fact you could check a single symptom, or a variety and it directs you to evidence-based information and links to further information pages.

2) What did you think of the articles on the Healthily website? Was the information useful and easy to understand?
The articles were really enjoyable, I particularly liked the ones in the nutrition section and the women’s health section. The information is clear and easy to read and printable if you wish to make further notes.

3) Were you able to navigate the website easily and find the information you wanted quickly?
The website is very easy to use with tabs to relevant sections and then tabs to the articles and further information, you can search for articles or use the tabs on the main screen for a quick look at the most recent articles.

4) Was the health content relevant to you and your needs?
The women’s health content was relevant and really informative. I enjoyed the articles about painful periods, irregular cycles and trying to conceive.

5) Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next?
I used the symptom checker to search up irregular and painful periods, the links were packed with relevant and sound information and were easy to follow. I would certainly use this again to symptom check for myself and the children.

1.) Did you find the Healthily Smart Symptom checker easy to use? If so, were your favourite features?
It was simple to use, clearly written questions.

  1. What did you think of the articles on the Healthily website? Was the information useful and easy to understand?
They were well written, but I didn't feel like there was really any new information I haven't previously read in other articles.

  2. Were you able to navigate the website easily and find the information you wanted quickly?
Yes the website was very user friendly.

  3. Was the health content relevant to you and your needs?
Yes, I think it would be relevant to many other women aswell, it was quite generic.

  4. Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next?
Yes, but a pharmacist could have done the same. I don't think you can replace speaking to a real person with an app.

  1. Did you find the Healthily Smart Symptom checker easy to use? If so, what were your favourite features?

The first time I used it, it was easy to use and came up with some sensible answers. The second time it glitched and kept showing a blank screen with blank answers, so I couldn't complete it, which was frustrating

  1. What did you think of the articles on the Healthily website? Was the information useful and easy to understand?
The articles seemed pretty good, but not sure what it offered above what you could find on the NHS website

  2. Were you able to navigate the website easily and find the information you wanted quickly?

Yes, it was pretty straightforward

  1. Was the health content relevant to you and your needs?

Not massively - I'm not trying to get pregnant, am broadly happy with my weight and I'm not menopausal, so there wasn't much I'm looking for at the moment

  1. Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next?

First time, yes, sort of. It was a bit woolly though. Nice to check a symptom without having to discuss it with someone though

windowstothesoul · 05/02/2022 20:02
  1. Did you find the Healthily Smart Symptom checker easy to use? If so, what were your favourite features?

It was easy to use - best part of the app/site - good level of questioning and accurate answers.

  1. What did you think of the articles on the Healthily website? Was the information useful and easy to understand?

The articles were easy to understand but quite simple advice- nothing that in-depth for medical site and certainly nothing that hooked me in to read more articles.

  1. Were you able to navigate the website easily and find the information you wanted quickly?

Yes easily -

  1. Was the health content relevant to you and your needs?

Yes, relevant.

  1. Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next?

Yes, I used it a few times and each time it gave a useful next step or suggestion.

  1. Did you find the Healthily Smart Symptom checker easy to use? If so, what were your favourite features?
It was quite intuitive and easy to use. I liked the fact that I was presented with a lot of questions that tells me the process is not superficial.

  2. What did you think of the articles on the Healthily website? Was the information useful and easy to understand?
The articles are very interesting and informative, also quite easy to understand.

  3. Were you able to navigate the website easily and find the information you wanted quickly?
Yes, it was quite easy to navigate and find required information.

  4. Was the health content relevant to you and your needs?
Yes the content in general is relevant to most of us at some point in time.

  5. Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next
No. The symptoms checker did tell me a few times that my problem needs urgent attention and that I need to contact the Dr in next 48 hours. For a few, it gave me "routine" which is fine. And for a lot of it, just said that it couldn't find any answer after asking a few questions. Overall I'm not very impressed with the idea as the result doesn't tell me anything. It is trying to mimic a dr or a nurse but definitely is not intelligent enough. It can do more harm to someone than being useful. I'd rather prefer to Google as I'll atleast get a lot of answers to dive deep and find out which one is more appropriate for me. Also, the subscription fee is too much given that the app is completely replaceable by information portal/websites/Google.

  1. Did you find the Healthily Smart Symptom checker easy to use? If so, what were your favourite features?

Yes, I really liked it. I tried a few symptoms of me and my family and only had 1 where it said it couldn't help. I liked the report and thought it was thorough.

  1. What did you think of the articles on the Healthily website? Was the information useful and easy to understand?

  1. Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next?

I certainly thought it was more tailored to me than when I 'google' symptoms and a good way to check. For most things it referred me to my GP so I suppose it didn't give me a lot more specific tailored information than I'd get by visiting a health professional.

Mummamama · 07/02/2022 11:46

BookShark · 07/02/2022 11:59
  1. Did you find the Healthily Smart Symptom checker easy to use? If so, what were your favourite features?

Yes, very easy to use from a technology perspective although I did get stuck in a loop and had to answer the same question more than once. But I'm not sure it's a replacement for actually being able to talk to someone and describe your symptoms - when everything is a yes/no answer in the symptom checker, it can be difficult to really explain the issue.

  1. What did you think of the articles on the Healthily website? Was the information useful and easy to understand?

There was a lot of content, but I felt it was quite similar to the kind of articles you get in lifestyle magazines. That said, there were some useful articles, but I would probably have been able to get the same information via Google.

  1. Were you able to navigate the website easily and find the information you wanted quickly?

If I were going on to the website with a particular health concern, then I think it would be easy to find what I wanted. But as I was just browsing it out of interest, it felt like there was a lot of information and it could be a bit overwhelming.

  1. Was the health content relevant to you and your needs?

Yes, I think there would be something for everyone.

  1. Did the content and Smart Symptom Checker address any health concerns you had? Did you feel confident about what to do next?

I tried a couple of different examples and it did give me the outcome I was expecting (among other suggestions), but I don't think I'd have felt very confident about it if I were going on it for a new condition, particularly when it gives you more than one possible cause.
