Attractive packaging and the pouches were easy to open. I like that the yogurt pouches don’t need to be kept in the fridge, this makes them useful for putting in school bags for a snack.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I love the size and the packaging. Thought the top was easy to open which is fab for lunch boxes
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
My kiddies loved the flavours. They liked the packaging. They also enjoyed the taste.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Both my kiddies liked the flavours especially the strawberry yogurt.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Great snack and perfect for lunch boxes.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
I think I would consider it a healthy snack if they choose a GoGo squeeZ instead of a chocolate bar or sweet. I tried the yogurt ones and thought they would taste better if they were cold. Overall a great success.
LookAtZiggy · 24/10/2017 20:30

The children (aged 5 and 7) loved these snacks and rated them very highly- and they are real snack connoisseurs! The boxes didn’t last long in our house. They were so excited to receive the parcel and couldn’t wait to get stuck in. One child preferred the yoghurt version while the other preferred the fruit variety so it was a win win situation. The banana was the most popular yoghurt flavour and the apple mango was the most popular fruit flavour.

They loved the ‘cool helicopter top’ of the packaging which I also thought was great as it was easy for them to open on their own as there was more room on the lid for them to get their whole hand around it to twist. I put this in their schoolbags for a playtime snack plus is also use them as a snack on the go due to the fact they don’t need refrigerating. I consider GoGo squeeZ to be on a par with yoghurt/ fruit flakes kind of snack ie they do contain quite a lot of sugar but not too much as part of a healthy balanced diet.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
We received our GoGo squeeZ snacks and yogurts and as soon as the boys noticed we'd received a parcel they were interested straight away! They were very enthusiastic to try the new snacks and yogurts straight away, I let them try the yogurt pouches first. I thought they were great, don't need to be stored in the fridge, easy to open and mess free.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The boys loved the handy pouches that they could take straight from the cupboard and the easy opening lids which they could open themselves. They were mess free and very tasty, my boys love snacks they can grab from the cupboard and can open easily themselves. Charlie even asked if he could have them in his lunchbox for school!
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Alfie really liked the Strawberry yogurt flavour and Charlie loved the banana flavour, he said the yogurt ones tasted just like milk. They liked that there was quite a variety of flavours. Unfortunately they didn't like the snack pouches which were like baby purees, I think it was the texture that put them off.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Out and about on days out, after school because my boys are always hungry once they get home and in school lunchboxes.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes.

My seven year old said that they were super tasty and wants one every day
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Loved the banana one
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Lunchboxes
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes, fab back-up if we have no fresh fruit in

My children loved these! Would highly recommend

1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I liked the bright packaging with clear writing and pictures of the fruits on each making it easy for kids to choose which one they want. They're easy to open, resealable and don't squirt out with a tiny bit of pressure unlike others with rip off tabs. Not having to refrigerate was a bonus!

I didn't like the texture of the fruit puree although the taste was pleasant.

2. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

4yo liked the colourful pictures and that she could open them herself without spilling

11yo thought that the yogurts were a better size than the usual tubes and that he could put the lid back on and keep it in his bag/lunch box without making a mess.

3. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They both thought there was a good variety and were happy about the banana yogurt because it's a change from the usual berry/vanilla/apricot flavours.

4yo liked all of them but said her favourite was the apple and mango puree.

11yo didn't like the texture of the purees but had some on top of porridge/rice pudding and said it was a nice taste. He did like the banana yogurt a lot though!

4. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

They're handy for keeping in the car or bags as a handy standby. I gave them to my 4yo on the bus ride home after nursery to stave off the munchies until lunchtime.

5. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes, they make a healthy replacement for some other easy to grab snacks and perhaps for getting extra fruit into fussy eaters but not to replace fresh fruit at home.

bluemarble · 24/10/2017 21:51
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

A good concept, particularly the yoghurt that didn't need to go in the fridge, let down by the high sugar content

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

DC1 (8) thought the products looked a bit babyish to start with (as DC1 remembered DC having Ella's kitchen pouches) but once DC1 tried it they thought it was fantastic and really yummy. DC2 (5) liked playing with the lid and making it a helicopter (as well as quickly eating all the contents)

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They preferred the fruit purées to the yoghurt, Apple and mango was popular.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

They have been having them in their lunch boxes for half term holiday clubs, it's quick and easy for that (and as a single mum who works full time convenience is important!). However because of the sugar content I wouldn't buy these often.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

No, sadly (as they are popular with the children and easy to use) the high sugar content means that they are not healthy in my view. It's disappointing when products like this are apparently healthy but when you look carefully at ingredients/nutritional content they have added stuff and high sugar.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general? Very good, my kids love it
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? the taste, especially the apple and mango ones.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? their favoruite is apple and mango
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? around 1 year old
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Yes definitely
Borntoflyinfirst · 25/10/2017 07:25

I liked the packaging and the children were excited to try the product.

The yogurt was definitely favoured over the fruit but at 7 and 10 they don’t often eat puréed fruit now so maybe it was the texture as much as the taste they weren’t convinced about.

They loved the banana yogurt best

I’d give I’m packed lunch or at home with a meal or as a snack.

I’d consider it an ok snack health wise. I wouldn’t bother with the fruit pouches as they eat actual fruit regularly but the yogurts were tasty and no worse than any other yogurt.

I’d buy again because they loved the banana flavour and they are less messy to eat that yogurt in a pot.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Good way to get my kids to eat more fruit. Good for lunch boxes and more exciting than a normal fruit. Healthy snack!
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They really liked them. They liked the taste and the pouches.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They really liked all the flavours, particularly the strawberry.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
I would give these in lunch boxes, or on a trip in the car. I would give them as a snack at home.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes I think they are healthy, both the fruit and yogurt. Much better than chocolate or crisps.
Spudilymunchkin16 · 25/10/2017 10:04

Thank you for choosing my family for this trial!

We really liked the yoghurts, they were lovely and creamy and a real hit with the children in their lunch boxes. The fruit purée pouches didn't go down too well though, they were likened to baby food!!

They liked the taste of the yoghurts and said they would like me to buy them in future!

Their favourite was banana yoghurt and the strawberry yoghurt.

They are perfect for lunch boxes which is what they were mainly used for and also a quick snack after school before dinner!

Yes I definately would buy them again and I do think they are healthy however I think the fruit purée pouches could do with a bit of tweaking.

danson16 · 25/10/2017 11:37
  1. I really liked them, the boxes are colourful, and have fun images of fruit on them. The ingredients are natural and they are a good handheld size for children. I particularly liked that there are a variety of flavours to choose from and yoghurt ones, which smelt devine! They are great for carrying around when out and are a great snack when they are hungry. I like that they are different from the baby ones you can get.
I also like that they have easy to open tops, they don't struggle they just turn them and no longer need us to open them for them.
  1. Its funny, my daughter who is coming up 5 was obsessed with the yoghurt flavoured ones, she did not however like the plain fruit ones. The banana was her favourite and we are going to buy some for her on our next shopping trip.
My son, aged 7, didn't like the yoghurt ones, but loves the fruit ones. He loves all the flavours and has them for snacking, he currently has 2 wobbly teeth at the front and has trouble biting into pears etc so this is a great alternative for him and they fill him up (well for a little while at least!).
  1. My daughter loved the yoghurt ones, the banana in particular. She didn't like the fruit ones. My son loves the apple and strawberry ones the best, we shall be buying them for him on our next shopping trip too. He didn't like the yoghurt ones at all but his not into yoghurt anyway.
I like that there is a good variety, I especially like that you have apple and strawberry, then just an apple, it gives options. I would have liked to have seen a strawberry only one or banana only, not just yoghurt options. I loved that there was a apple and mango one, not often do you find mango ones.
  1. I would use them when out, as they fit well in bags. Ideal for a quick snack while out. I also think they are great for lunchboxes as they are easy to open and ideal for them. I think they are great for everything, they can be given when in a hurry or when they want a snack (perfect for half terms when they constantly say they are hungry!!!).
  1. Definitely, they are a healthy snack, great for when they want something sweet. They would still need to have their fruit and vegetables as these do not cover the 5 a day but I will definitely be buying more.
danson16 · 25/10/2017 11:47

Pic when they arrived, kids wanted them as soon as they saw them.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
The packaging was nice and bright and I thought they'd be handy for lunch boxes. After trying them, they do remind me of baby food pouches which I think put the older one off taking them to school.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The caps were very easy to open. The little one liked the pictures on the pouches.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
The apple was a favourite with the 5 yr old, the 4 yr old want keen on them but I think that had more to do with it being a pouch.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
I had planned on packed lunches but more now as a snack after school or if in a rush in the morning.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
I'd rather just give fresh fruit, but compared to other on the go products this was good.
Lulabellx1 · 25/10/2017 15:17

Thank you Mumsnet for allowing us to take part in the trial. I have DS who is 10 and DD who is 6 and their/our feedback is as follows:

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general? DD likes the Strawberry and Apple one's best. DS likes banana, but that is the only REAL fruit he eats so I'm not surprised.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? They like the different flavours and the fact that there are both yoghurt and fruit snacks. DD likes how they are easy to squeeze out. DD likes the lids, she was able to take them off and put them on the end of a pencil to twirl them and she thought that was cool.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? DD likes that there is lots of choice and her favourite one is the Strawberry. She eats a lot of different fruit in general. DS enjoyed the Apple but said that the Banana was his fave.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? Lunch boxes, afternoon snacks... and when we are out and about. DD had one with breakfast the other day but I didn't think it was enough on it's own for breakie.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Yes, much healthier than biscuits! :-)

:)

Stujobohm · 25/10/2017 15:18

As an after school snack, or in lunchboxes
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes relatively.
Tankerdale · 25/10/2017 15:34
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Quite convenient, kids were excited to try them.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They quite liked the yogurty ones but weren't that keen on the fruit ones because of the texture. They liked the 'helicopter lids'
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Favorites were the banana yogurt and strawberry yogurt. Least favourite was the plain apple (too tart) and the fruit ones in general (strange texture - not quite smooth)
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Probably best as a snack on the go
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Not sure - it would be better to have the whole fruit than a purée and it's obviously high sugar.
lillyfer · 25/10/2017 15:41

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? The kids both liked the strawberry yogurt best.
