  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
The fun packaging and illustrations made the children 'want' to eat them. They are convenient and tasty
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The children liked the fact GoGo squeeZ's are a no mess snack. They preferred the fruit purees rather than the yogurt ones
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite
Mango and apple was a firm favourite. Apple and strawberry and apple were also favourites. The one they enjoyed the least was the banana
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
They are a handy snack to have on the go
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes most definitely Smile

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Overall I thought these products were good, I particularly liked how the yoghurts didn't need refrigerating which is a plus when travelling/picnicing etc. The packaging was eye catching and the easy to open cap was a real plus point.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They have really enjoyed them and couldn't wait to try when the parcel arrived. Again, they liked the packaging and they enjoyed the yoghurts more than the fruit puree.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They both liked the yoghurts more than the purees - one preferred the strawberry and the other the banana yoghurt. Out of the purees , the apple and mango was enjoyed the most.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Packed lunches, picnicing, travelling. As there is no need for a fridge these are great for when out and about.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack
The amount of sugar in the yoghurts stop me considering these to be a healthy snack and would see them more as a treat. Whilst the puree is a great way of getting fruit into the children they are just as happy to eat a whole piece of fruit which is preferable.
purplepandas · 26/10/2017 20:26
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I was impressed. Easy to open packaging and great flavours. A hit with the children in this house.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
Easy to open and eat. They liked all flavours between them.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Apple and mango for one and strawberry for another.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Out and about. Easy to store snacks that won't spill etc.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
It's clearly not as healthy as fresh fruit but way better than typical snack alternatives. So yes in many ways.
Gilliancollins78 · 26/10/2017 21:51
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Loved that they didn't need refrigerated. They are ideal for putting in lunch boxes and for snacks at school
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? Liked that they are something different. They were easy to open themselves. Andrew liked that they are healthy as he is doing healthy eating as topic in school.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
The banana yogurt was the favourite- they we not keen on the apple and mango one.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? Packed lunch box or as a snack after school
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Yes definitely
trollarama · 26/10/2017 22:08
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Good idea- especially for a quick snack out and about when you dont want the kids to make a mess
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
That they could get them opem themselves and that there was more than one flavour to choose from. The older dc takes a portion of fruit to school each day and liked that these were quick to eat so they had more playtime! The DC are already on my case to buy more.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
One of the dc can't have milk so they only tried the fruit ones, however both my dc loved these and hoovered them up. I tried them as well (!) and found the banana yoghurt and strawberry and apple ones had a weird aftertaste.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
When they need a quick snack
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Healthier than sweets yes, but a piece of fruit fresh from the bowl would probably be better. Swings and roundabouts and all of that
Jinty16 · 26/10/2017 22:27
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I think they are a great idea. I like that they are healthy and easy to take on the go.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They like squeezing them out of the pouches and that they are easy to open.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They like that there is variety of flavours. They enjoyed the yogurt versions best with the strawberry being their favourite.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

With lunch or as an afternoon snack especially when out and about.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes. It is a great healthy snack to have when away from home when fresh fruit and yogurt isn't convenient.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 27/10/2017 01:17

1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I love that they don't need to be refrigerated, very convenient, the packaging appeals to children, seem healthy enough, I like that they don't come in mixed packs as you always ends up with one flavour left over that nobody really wants!

2. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They loved the flavours. They said they liked that they didn't need help to open it, unlike the pots which they can't keep upright while pulling lid off, and tubes which need cutting or ripping off with teeth but that gets yoghurt everywhere and dentist told them they shouldn't use their teeth unless they are eating. Liked that they got to eat what they considered a treat, while I was happy because I considered it somewhat healthy

3. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? banana yoghurt won hands down! There wasn't a flavour they disliked though, they were all pretty even with banana yogurt miles ahead!

4. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? really handy to keep in the car for unexpectedly long outings, before/between/after activities when we are busy going to and from things. I wouldn't mind these being eaten in the car, and there are not many things I can say that about. They have already been requested for lunch boxes when they go back to school. After school snack would work well, the possibilities are endless really, the no refrigeration is a huge bonus

5. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack
Somewhat of a healthy snack. Obviously it's better to eat a whole piece of fruit, but I don't think these would be used to replace fruit, they are more likely to replace snack type foods eg crisps, so these would be a lot healthier than most things.

Honestly I am not sure I could buy these regularly at the current price, but I think I would have to get the banana yoghurt again from time to time as a treat. I will be buying some to keep in the car for outings that take longer than planned. If they were cheaper, even just down to £2 would help, I would definitely be buying them regularly and using them often. I will be looking out for special offers and stocking up when I see any!

TellMeItsNotTrue · 27/10/2017 01:19

Note for all testers who want to buy them again Tesco currently have them better than half price at only £1.24 until 14th of November Grin guess where I am going tomorrow!!!

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 27/10/2017 08:46
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I've seen similar products before but I liked the size and design, that they look distinct from similar baby pouches. This feels speicifically
Aimed at children not babies, even if it is a very similar product.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They loved the design and they loved the helicopter kids which are now gracing a whole selection of junk models as screws, helicopters and buttons!
This design was the first one my daughter can open independently at school. Which is a big deal in your first term at school!

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

The yogurts were a favourite. My daughter didn't like the plain fruit, my son did but on porridge instead of jam. He used a lot more of it than he used of jam, so his total sugar intake may have ended up the same!

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

The yogurts I would definitely give to my daughter at lunch. It's really hard getting calcium into her and she doesn't like yogurt pots as she has to take her rubbish home and it's messy.
I'll be looking out for them for this purpose, and getting calcium into her is hard work so I hope they are out soon!

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

No healthier than normal yogurt and probably less healthy than whole fruit as it's lost a lot of its fibre. If the kids had loved the pouches then maybe after school I would have used them.

MakeTeaNotWar · 27/10/2017 09:11

. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I'd never heard of the brand before, is it new? Where in the supermarket would these be stocked? But when they arrived, liked the packaging and the size, very attractive and perfect for little hands.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They loved that they could open them themselves and that the lid looked like a helicopter blade.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Really liked the flavours, mango was their favourite.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Yes definitely, for size and convenience.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Mmm not sure - probably got a lot of sure? But certainly feels better than sweets or biscuits.
Cadensofia1 · 27/10/2017 12:56

The yoghurt ones were a big hit in our house fruit ones not so much but still got eaten favourite was bannana ones they were great package especially the tops as made it easy to open by there selfs as my son thought they were great helicopters so lots of fun . Handy for the car and in lunch boxes will definitely but the yoghurts again as a regularly thing as they are mess free as well so even better great product

toyinfinity · 27/10/2017 13:51
  1. My children liked the easy to open lid of the pouches and the bright packaging. They liked the fact their was more yoghurt in the pouch than the usual pouches yoghurt snacks I buy that are a lot smaller.

  2. The banana yoghurt and apple and mango fruit purée were the most popular flavours. My daughter didn’t like the strawberry yoghurt and only liked the apple and mango fruit purée.

  3. I really like the idea of yoghurt that doesn’t need to be kept cold, which would be better for lunch boxes. They are a great size for taking out and about as an on the go snack rather than carrying pieces of fruit. Yes I would buy GoGo SqueeZ again. There was enough in the pouches to be a filling snack for my 8 year old.

  4. I prefer them to eat actual fruit but this is a good alternative for outings and lunch boxes as a healthy snack.

Babycarmen · 27/10/2017 15:29
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
They are fun and my girls (9 and 5) were very keen to try them
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They loved the packaging as it’s something different
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They liked both the yogurt flavours but weren’t keen on the plain fruit options.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Packed lunches, after school snacks
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes but they cost too much for what they are.
Holly221288 · 27/10/2017 19:36
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I liked how the children could open them. The packaging was simple but effective. Great that they don't need to be in the fridge. The purée reminded me more of something I would give my one year old.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They loved the yogurts but weren't keen on the purée, baby food as they called it. They also liked being able to open themselves.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They definitely preferred the yogurts - banana was the favourite.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ ?
Ideal for lunch boxes or as an after school snack if we are walking home.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes I would although probably more likely to give as a pudding
Welshmaenad · 27/10/2017 19:49
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

Liked the bright, attractive packaging. The easy open lid is a plus as one of my children has cerebral palsy and struggles with the little screw kids on regular pouches - she could open these by herself.

Really liked that there was no need for refrigeration, even of the yoghurts. The kids take a packed lunch to a full day at drama school on the weekend and I used to worry about regular yoghurts sitting around in a warm environment.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

Loved the kids, liked the packaging too, said it looked fun and exciting. They were very keen to test them and give their opinions.

They were keener on the yoghurts than the fruit pouches, my youngest wasn't too keen on the fruit ones at all, but he's funny about grainy textures and I think this might be what put him off. My eldest liked the fruit pouches, they both loved the yoghurts.

They also liked the reassurance that they would 'go funny' sat in a lunchbox all morning, little one has (completely unfounded!) hangups about getting food poisoning for some reason. He was pleased that they didn't need to be kept in the fridge.

Both praised how smooth and creamy the yoghurt pouches were and declared them 'really delicious'.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

Both rated banana above strawberry in the yoghurts. They also both asked if there was a peach/apricot option and insisted I suggest that you make one!

Of the fruit pouches, my eldest liked Apple and mango the best.

I also trialled the fruit pouches as I love fruit purée/compote and regularly buy this for myself as a dessert or snack! I liked them all but plain apple was my favourite.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

In a lunchbox, as a snack in place of fruit or after dinner as a dessert.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

I don't really subscribe to the notion of healthy vs unhealthy, just everything in moderation. I wouldn't give the yoghurt daily as it does have a decent dose of sugar in, though to be fair, an amount comparable to other brands of yoghurt pouch. I also assume this is unavoidable in an ambient product. I think the fruit pouches would be ok every day in theory but wouldn't want the kids eating them daily in place of whole fruit due to the fibre etc they'd be missing out on.

However, for a lunchbox, a snack on the run, days out or s treat after dinner they are fantastic and definitely would have a place in the kids diet. I would buy them again, though I feel they are a little overpriced compared to their chilled counterparts.

Perpetualstateofchaos · 27/10/2017 22:33

Placemarking so I can provide feedback once my son's have tried them all. Only managed to collect the parcel from the post office today.

boptanana · 27/10/2017 22:38
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I liked the concept, loved they were easy to open and that the yoghurts didn’t need refrigerating.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They loved them!
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Both liked them all, banana and apple and raspberry were favourites.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
After meals, snacks, lunchboxes.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes
DiabloKitten · 27/10/2017 22:46

. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
There cute little pouches and handy to have in the cupboard!

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The easy opening of then, smooth taste yet not bland plus the different flavours
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Strawberry yog went down a treat but the strawberry was sharp tasting
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Pack lunches! As well as on the go like car journey
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes I would totally!!!
KittyKat88 · 28/10/2017 00:08
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
The yoghurt was more popular with my DDs aged 5 & 7. They quite liked the purees on their porridge but weren't so keen to have them as a treat.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The fun packaging and both DDs liked the designs on the boxes!
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They enjoyed the flavours, preferring the strawberry yoghurt the most.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
They are great packed lunch fillers, but both DDs enjoyed them as a weekend treat too.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
I would choose this over other yoghurts for convenience, as I don't think they are any less healthy than the other options
MummySurgeon · 28/10/2017 10:35
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
The packaging was easy to open and convenient for packing. I really liked that you didn’t have to worry about keep them chilled which also made them easy to store (no need for fridge space).
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They were definitely attracted to the packaging - the bright colours made it attractive, but particularly the “helicopter” lid which they could easily open. They also liked eating their yogurt/fruit through a “straw” themselves.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
All of them were a hit but I think the favourites were the apple & mango and the banana yogurt ones.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
They were super convenient for packed lunches but also really good to grab when travelling/out and about, particularly as no need to keep chilled and also mess free!
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes and I think the way they were packaged made them more interesting for my kids so they were keen to try them and enjoyed the flavours
Wigeon · 28/10/2017 14:45

1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

My DD(9) says she thought it was really good and nice and tasty. I thought they seemed like a good idea for lunchboxes.

DD(6) says the fruit purée ones were nice because they taste like real fruits. She didn’t really like the yoghurt ones because she said they taste a bit weird and the flavour tasted not real - she says they tasted like pretend banana and pretend strawberry.

2. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

DD(9) liked the lids because they are easy to open. She liked to have them for pudding at home, and when they go back to school next week I’ll put them in lunchboxes. DD also thought they would be good for long journeys as they don’t have to go in the fridge.

DD(6) liked that the texture of the fruit ones wasn’t completely smooth.

3. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

Dd(9) likes both the yoghurts and the fruit ones, and liked that there’s was a variety. She liked the apple and mango, and apple and strawberry fruit flavours. She liked both yoghurts. Her favourite was the apple and mango.

DD(6) liked apple and mango purée best. Didn’t like the yoghurts.

4. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

After a meal for pudding, in lunchboxes, as part of a picnic or on a long journey in the car.

5. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Sort of - with the plain apple purée it would be much better to just eat an apple, and that comes in a handy package but the waste is entirely compostable!

I’m not sure if the yoghurts are quite high in sugar, even if it’s because of the fruit content rather than added sugar. I was also quite put off by the fact you don’t need to refrigerate the yoghurts - that makes me concerned that they must be quite artificial in order to preserve the yoghurt.

I liked putting the apple purée on my porridge in the morning though, and might buy it for that in future.

Fruitdrop84 · 28/10/2017 15:48
  1. I like the way they aren't refrigerated and very handy. Also very bright and eye catching.
  2. The fruit purees needed a bit of encouragement but the the yogurts went down no problem at all.
  3. He liked the strawberry yogurt one but he loves anything strawberry lol.
  4. These would be handy in lunchboxes and also in picnics.
  5. Yes they are healthy but again everything in moderation.
AWhistlingWoman · 28/10/2017 17:05
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I really liked the packaging, bright and eye-catching. Also liked that the design makes it quite distinct from the baby food pouches I think that DS (6) worries they might be mistaken for. Like the convenience of not having to refrigerate them as ours is usually full to bursting! I loved the propeller style lids, DD (9) has muscle weakness in her hands but found these easy to open, really a huge bonus for her. Also DD (3) could manage them on her own which I think will be a bonus at nursery. Also not as messy as pot of yoghurt or fruit in a lunch box.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They certainly seemed popular, they liked the lids and the flavours.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

All of them have been eaten, I think the yoghurts were slightly more favoured than the fruit (especially the banana, that went the most quickly!) Of the fruit flavours, apple and strawberry was the most popular.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

Definitely something I would put in a lunch box given the relative ease of opening and the fact that these do not have to be refrigerated. Also something I could keep in my handbag to have on the way to afterschool clubs, something they could eat in the car on the way there as easy to open and low on mess.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

I think so, although as a previous poster has said, everything in moderation. I quite like the portion size being on the more modest side having had my fingers burnt by innocent smoothies in the past!

Flapdoodles · 28/10/2017 17:38

Thank you Mumsnet for choosing me to be part of this trial.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
The packaging was nice and bright, the top was good and easy to open for DD and DS. Good variety of fruit tastes to try. I like that they don't need to be refrigerated with a long shelf lift but that also concerns me that there must be a lot of additives in them.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They preferred the yoghurts and had to be encouraged to sample the fruits. They like being able to open them themselves and like being able to get a fruit sachet rather than having to choose a piece of fruit - apparently it felt less like eating fruit to them both.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? Their favourite was the banana and strawberry - least favourite was apple. Apple was the only one I tried and it did remind me of pureed baby food.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? I think as an on the go snack when you don't want to take fruit so picnics, packed lunches etc.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? I don't think it is as healthy as a piece of fruit but it is a good alternative and a quick and easy option if, for example, you are travelling in the car and don't want a fruit mess.

I filled in the survey prior to completing this feedback and feel that they are more expensive than other brands of fruit yogurt I have bought so I am not sure if the bright packaging and easy to open top will be enough to get people to buy them.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

Loved them, they are always fans of squeezy pouches as a snack.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They love the little pouches, they also liked the easy to undo tops which they likened to helicopters!

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
My daughter liked Strawberry but my son liked banana yoghurt best.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Definitely as an out an about snack, maybe the occasional one at home but more something I would carry in my pack, particularly on days out, trips to the park etc. I'd also happily use them in lunch boxes for school.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes definitely!
