Hi my children thought the packets were very bright and easy to open so very practical for lunch boxes. They loved the flavours and thought they were very tasty my 7 year old say they are like a smoothie in a pouch. They
Loved all the flavours but there favourite was apple and mango. Overall they are very good for them and great in a lunch box or picnic as a healthy alternative. I also agree I would deffinatly buy again as a weekend treat but as an everyday lunch box I would say they are a bit pricey. But the product itself we as a family really like and enjoyed.

frowner · 23/10/2017 19:01

What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general? I thought that the packaging was fun and liked the fact that they were easy to open and didn’t need to be refrigerated.

What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? They liked that they could be opened easily as they struggle with some other brands.

What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? Both the yoghurt ones were a hit, they weren’t very keen on the fruit ones and thought it resembled baby food!

When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? For a school packed lunch.

Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? I would consider it to be more of a treat.

Mrshairyhead · 23/10/2017 19:05
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I was unsure how suitable they would be for my 10 year old daughter as I had bought similar products when she was a toddler. I like the cap design as it seems safer as it is less of a choke hazard for smaller children.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They enjoyed having a new snack to try.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
The strawberry flavours were the favourite.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
In a packed lunch.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Not really healthy but healthier than some alternatives. They are an easy option for a packed lunch which is not too sugar laden but is still appealing to a child.
RidiculousDiversion · 23/10/2017 19:19
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I liked that they didn't have added sugar and that the yoghurt ones don't need to be kept in the fridge. 6yo liked being able to open them by herself (the tops are much easier to manage than other types we've tried). I didn't like throwing away so much packaging, rather than being able to recycle it.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

That they got to try something new! I don't usually buy pouches of stuff, so they're very much a treat that they get at other people's houses.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

9yo love the mango, liked the fruit, didn't like the yoghurt ones. 6yo liked all of them, but apple the best.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

As an occasional treat in a packed lunch (they usually have school dinners, so this would be for school trips or family days out, maybe once a month).

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes, but not as good as having the whole fruit.

LaNouba · 23/10/2017 19:47
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Love the fact they don’t need to be kept refrigerated. Great for an on the move snack. Really easy to open top which my 4 year old managed. Also like the fact the top isn’t a choking hazard like other brand fruit pouches we’ve tried.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? They liked the variety of flavours and how tasty they were.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? They enjoyed the variety but Mango and apple was the favourite.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Great for after swimming, lunch boxes and days out.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Far better than sweets or chocolate. Obviously fresh fruit is best but these seem a good healthier option than crisps, biscuits etc. The Fruit purée being one of their 5 a day would probably be my choice over the yoghurt variety.
Hajra5611 · 23/10/2017 19:48

I thought they looked similar to other products available hence why I would happily buy them as my girls are used to them saying that my 5 year old compared the pouches to her 10 month old sisters baby food she was not keen on the puree but happily had the yoghurts
It was good to have a taste of different flavours for her but she enjoyed the strawberry & banana yoghurt
My 10 month old tried the puree pouches and she enjoyed the apple mango flavour as that is what she normally has in fruit puree she cannot comment but she enjoyed it as she finished the pouch
As its got fruit and is fresh with its appeal to my girls I would defo buy more.

Byrdie · 23/10/2017 19:50
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

My three all liked them. One wasn’t so keen on one of the fruit ones, the yoghurt ones went down best.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They loved choosing the flavours and giving me feedback! My middle one loved it in her lunchbox on friday at school.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They all had a different. Strawberry youhurt, banana and mango were the three.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

Lunch boxes, car snacks, out and about snacks. I LOVE that i don’t need to store it in the fridge. The kids prefer it room temperature anyway!

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Somewhat. The added sugar in the yoghurt is a bit annoying as i don’t think it needs added sugar when there’s fruit in there already. It is better than most prepacked lunch box snacks things though.

BrieAndChilli · 23/10/2017 19:52
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
My kids liked them, they preferred the fruit ones to the yoghurt ones.

They taste yummy, and they are easy to eat. They said they tasted like innocent smoothies

My DDs was the apple and mango and my DS’s liked the apple. They would like to see the following flavours in the future - forest fruits, grape and pineapple.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
They have been great for School fruit snack. Handy to keep in cupboard for days when no fresh fruit left.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes, and kids happy to eat them
ohhelpohnoitsa · 23/10/2017 19:53
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

We liked them though I am not quite sure who the target market is. The pouches are quite big for little children but the novelty might not work for older children.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
Like the pouch and opener. 1 sc loves the yogurt ones, one dc loves them all, one dc liked the smoother ones but not some of the "sandy" ones as he put it. I think they expected a yogurt texture as they have had pouch yogurts before. When I explained they were more of a smoothie, they were happy enough.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

Strawberry ones, yogurt banana ones. Apple only popular with older dc (10yrs)

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Packed lunch, breakfast maybe as they usually have a yogurt. After swimming / dodgeball etc - good for the car as very little mess.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack
Yes though one had sugar.
Marie1276 · 23/10/2017 20:00

Great packaging with very tasty and healthy yogurt and fruits snacks inside.
Easy to break and hold by little hands.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They loved the fun squeezing packaging and the different flavours.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They loved it all really. Its great to have a drink in different flavours so they don't get bored of it too quickly.

The favourite one for DD1 was the strawberry and DD2 loved the banana one.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

These will be great in the mid morning or afternoon as their snacks.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes definitely and we're really condering buying more of them and replaced the other brands we were buying.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I thought these were fantastic products. I am really impressed with the range is how much of a hit they were with all three of my children. Great option for on the go more healthy snack.
What I most liked was having a yoghurt snack that did not have to go in the fridge- this is a big selling point for me.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They absolutely loved them. What was surprising is that they liked all the flavours and both the fruit and yoghurt types. My three can be rather fussy but these did not last long at all with regular demands for more! They loved that they could easily open them independently as well.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They loved them all. The banana yoghurt was the biggest hit.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

As a snack, in a packed lunch or after a main meal.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes I would. It’s an easy, portable alternative to fruit or yoghurt.

Thank you so much for letting us test the product as we have discovered something that is a big success in my house and we will certainly be buying them in future.

liane77 · 23/10/2017 20:09
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I really liked the easy to open packaging and the flavours were good although limited
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They liked the fact that it looked like a treat but was semi healthy and the fact that they could open them themselves
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They liked all the flavours although apple was a bit of a repetitive theme. They preferred the yoghurt ones, especially the banana flavour as in the uk banana yoghurt is quite an unusual flavour
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
i would put these in lunchboxes as they are foil packed and could withstand being in hot classrooms, i would also pack for car trips and picnics.

I dont understand why they are aimed at 5-10 yrs though, i dont see the difference between them and the already available pouch foods in the baby/toddler aisle

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
liane77 · 23/10/2017 20:11

i missed the last question.

i wouldnt count it as a healthy snack but in the absence of fresh fruit, facilities to prep fresh fruit and the need to keep clean, I wouldn't think twice about using these. They were great. Thank you

RuthCart · 23/10/2017 20:13
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The yogurt flavours.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes.
asuwere · 23/10/2017 20:17
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Looked good, DC loved the lids and the fact they don't need refrigerated makes them more versatile. I was expecting the fruit ones to be smooth which they weren't so it was an unusual taste/texture. I was disappointed at the added sugar in the yoghurt ones though!
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They liked the lids the best!
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Overall, they preferred the yoghurt ones to the fruit ones, although they were all liked.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
I've used them as snacks over the weekend and also in lunchboxes today.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Healthier than some things, remove the added sugar and it would be healthier!

Thanks for choosing us to test these, DC have enjoyed it.

JustRosieHere · 23/10/2017 20:27

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? In his lunchbox.

Hmmm. Yes. But a treat.
pinkspideruk · 23/10/2017 20:32
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

Good idea, nicely packaged, easy to open

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

Unfortunately neither H (4) or D (7) liked the taste or texture of these. They were very keen to try them when they saw the packaging but didnt like the contacts

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They really didnt like any of them. They found them to be very sweet, too runny and the fruit ones too lumpy/gritty

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

If they had liked them they would have been ideal for lunch boxes, day trips etc

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes the ingredient contents arent too bad

SmileAndNod · 23/10/2017 20:51
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I really liked them - no mess and easy to open.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They liked the ease of them and also the flavours.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
None of them were keen on the apple flavour I have to be honest, they found it quite sharp, I tasted it myself so I could see why. But the apple and mango went down better and the yoghurt flavours have disappeared -they were DC2 favourite.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
In a lunchbox, after swimming, after school snack. Anywhere we need something quick and portable really.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes, though I'm not sure that the yoghurt needed any added sugar.

Thank you for letting us try these out, it was a very generous product test !

WhosTakingDeHorseToFrance · 23/10/2017 20:57

What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I liked the easy open packaging and the fact that they can be stored at ambient temperature, ideal for picnics or an on the go snack. I thought they were a pretty decent portion size too and I liked that there wasn't a long list of indecipherable E numbers.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
I had two testers age 4 and 9. My 4 year old loved the yoghurts and I would definitely include them in a lunchbox as being a fussy child sandwiches are often refused. The 9 year old tasted all of them, categorically refused to have it anywhere near his lunchbox as the packaging was so babyish and he would be embarrassed by it. Neither child liked the fruit purees although we didn't get the apple strawberry to try (got an extra banana yoghurt pack instead). The 4 year old just said yuk and the 10 year old described it as gritty frogspawn...not a hit!
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
The strawberry and banana yoghurts were equally popular. The fruit pouches a non starter for them both.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
I'd be happy to include in a lunchbox or as a snack.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes, the yoghurts are a good source of calcium vitamin D and it's not stuffed full of sugar, the fruit ones I cannot see the point of!

I think I would have found the fruit pouches handy when in the weaning stage although cannot see the point of them with older children.

Thanks GoGo squeeze and mumsnet for including us in the test.

JimbosJetSet · 23/10/2017 21:17
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I liked the convenience and design of the pouches, esp not having to keep them in the fridge, and also the easy twist tops.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They both particularly liked the yogurt flavours, and both liked being able to remove the lids without difficulty or assistance.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

The banana flavour was the favourite. Neither particularly keen on the fruit purées although neither have had fruit purees before so they weren’t used to the texture.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

In lunchboxes, or mid morning/afternoon snack.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Not the healthiest snack I can think of, but certainly better than a chocolate biscuit.

Grasshopper123 · 23/10/2017 21:17
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

My children loved trying these and found the pouches to be fun and easy to open. They liked the images and could easily tell which flavour was which. I was unsure about the purées and not sure I can see the point of these (and it reminds me of baby food). I liked that they didn’t have to be stored in the fridge and this makes it easier for lunchboxes.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

My 3 year old loved the tops as these looked like helicopters. They all LOVED the banana flavour and preferred the yoghurts to the purée. The pouches were fun and colourful.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

The yoghurt flavours favoured better in our house with perhaps banana being most popular. All three of my children disliked the apple & strawberry and apple & mango.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

Probably not - my children are 7, 5 and 3 and they all quite like fruit for a snack, therefore go go squeeZ may be abit redundant...

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Not sure - I didn’t look too much at the ingredients but I am generally skeptical about these sort of ‘healthy snacks’. I’m not sure how it would fare against a whole banana/ apple which I might chose for a healthy snack for the children.

LynnGay159 · 23/10/2017 21:37
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general.?

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
My children thought the yogurts were quite nice but were not very keen on the fruit purée.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
My children liked the banana yogurt the best but also liked the strawberry ,they didn’t really like any fruit purée
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ ?
In a packed lunch.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes
chambord · 23/10/2017 22:12

What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general? We were very excited to be testing these. We loved the packaging and the easy opening. I liked the fact that they do not have to be kept in fridge.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? I would say my children (8 And 10) are the top end of the age range that would like these. They found them easy to open and they were handy in the lunch boxes as didn't need to be kept cold.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? My children preferred the yogurt style ones over the fruit pouches and the strawberry was their favourite.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? They had them in lunch boxes and after meals. Also as snacks when out.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Yes
CopperKettle11 · 23/10/2017 22:41
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I liked that they didn’t have to be kept in the fridge - easy to take with us on days out and packed lunches. Packaging was attractive.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
My 2 children loved the yoghurt pouches but did not like any of the fruit pouch flavours. The yoghurts went down very well and were gobbled up! They thought the fruit pouches were for babies (I did try to convince them otherwise!). I think also they were too bland and one of my children really didn’t like the texture!
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Strawberry yoghurts were preferred but banana flavour yoghurts were equally yummy for them.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Only the yoghurts
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes - but only the yoghurts. For the fruit pouches, they would prefer chopped up fresh fruit I’m afraid.
