I loved the packaging with the gogo squeeze it was attractive and easy to open. My daughters age 5 and 7 both couldnt wait to try them. The banana flavoured yoghurt was the firm fav with my 5yr old and the eldest loved the apple and mango fruit.
They were perfect to include in lunchboxes and also as a healthy snack before my daughters gymnastics training along with some nuts etc.
I would def recommend as my daughters kept asking me when they could have another. A big hit in our house.

BrieAndChilli · 23/10/2017 23:02

Another thing.. DS1 age 10 has poor fine motor skills so struggled to open things. Once I showed him the first time he has managed to open them himself since so that’s. Thumbs up from me!

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The packaging caught their eye immediately. one of my children has already used the propeller type lids for her school project and it is ace! my children preferred the yogurt pouches rather than the puree ones.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

The household fave was the banana- all flavours were tried and the fruit ones were tangy/ bitter as stated by the darlings lol

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
.. I myself was rather happy to receive this product to try ... on first glance wow nice packaging easy to open and spare room around the package for little fingers to hold and not squeeze everywhere.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
.. I have 7 children age from 6 months to almost 14years and minus the youngest every one of my children loved these, im rather lucky my children are in ni wat fussy eaters fruit veg meats the lot they love the gogoz my 6 year old neice was visiting us last week she had one every day with her lunch and loved it. My 5 year old thought it was rather yummy my 10year old took a choice of 1 every day in her pack up.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They loved having a choice of many flavours, banana yogurt was a big hit and the Apple and mango was a huge success
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Lunch times at home or school on picnics or just as a mud morning or after swim snack.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?..
After reading the packaging I was kind of hmming about this question, but considering how much fruit and fruit juice my children eat and drink it probably has a higher sugar and acids intake so ide say it's pretty average for fruit sugars. But for a fussy eater who point blank refuse to eat fruit and rather eat chocolate and sweets then yes this is much healthier option. Luckily I don't have that problem tho. So to mummys and daddy's ide say give this a go if you have fussy and picky eaters but don't make a fuss over it just leave it there and see how it goes 👍😉

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
A healthy snack for kids and easy to take on trips or in school lunches as doesn't need to be chilled. Whilst it is attractively packaged, I don't think the packaging is recyclable which is a downside.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
DD2 doesn't like yoghurt so wouldn't try those and didn't like the texture of the fruit ones so they were a NO from her. DD1 liked them all, but again wasn't keen on the texture of the fruit ones but thought they looked nice and tasted delicious. She is busy making her way through them.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Banana yogurt and Apple and Mango on the fruit.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Yes for DD1 in her lunch boxes and when we go out for picnics.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes, but I would prefer they eat the actual fruit.
countingdown · 24/10/2017 10:06
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I liked the packaging. They look appealing to children. My children were able to open them by themselves - always a bonus!
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They were a bit unsure initially as they thought they were for babies. They enjoyed having something different to try.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They both enjoyed the apple. However, my younger child didn’t like the texture and won’t try anymore! My son loves all of them.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
We endured a very long car journey and they were perfect snacks to pass back to the children. I’d possibly put them in lunch boxes but would probably keep them as an emergency snack in my handbag.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
No. I’d still rather see my children eating fresh fruit or vegetables as a snack.

Thank you very much for giving us the chance to try these.

WarmHugs · 24/10/2017 10:38
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

Great brand, loved the packaging.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They loved the taste, I was sure they'd dislike at least one, but they loved them all.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They liked them all, but said apple and mango was their favourite (DD 8 and DS 6). DH has just piped up that he liked apple and mango too, even though they weren't for him!

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

We mainly used them for packed lunches and days out when I take some snacks. At the selling price they are, I would only use them for an occasional treat though

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

I checked the ingredients, can't see any nasties, so yes!

SlickBubbles · 24/10/2017 10:41
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Great idea, especially the being able to be stored in the cupboard and not the fridge, the added Vit D in the yogurt and the 1 of 5 a day in the fruit.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They loved the yogurt. They didn't like the the fruit ones. We tried mixing it with some plain yogurt as well as a different angle, but still they didn't like the texture. They loved the yogurt ones though, especially the ease to open/close and squeeze, and are keen for them in lunchbox to replace the yogurt drinks they currently have
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Favourite was strawberry yogurt, followed by banana.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
In lunchboxes
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes, on the whole.
SlickBubbles · 24/10/2017 10:44

I'm glad to read it wasn't just my child who didn't like the fruit ones. I enjoyed it mixed with Greek yogurt, but he still didn't. I wondered if it were something that children whod been weened on things like Ella's pouches (which weren't around when he was weaned as he's 9) would like more?

SlickBubbles · 24/10/2017 10:47

Sorry for third post - just filled in the survey, but it was difficult as they lumped things like flavour etc in together. DS loved one but hated the other, so they don't have a true answer to those questions. And I admit, for the price we probably wouldn't buy again - basic yogurt drinks in Morrison's are 12 for £2.

Geckos · 24/10/2017 10:49
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
The packaging was colourful and eye catching. I liked the lids/tops as they were easy to open and the children could open them themselves. I loved the fact that I could screw the lids back on the pouch and save for later if the kids didn't finish them. Also if they were eating them in the car I could screw the lids back on to prevent sticky leakage once they had finished with them. These also have a very long shelf life, about 1 year, so you can have some in the glove box of the car for those 'I'm starving, mum!' moments.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? The kids loved the lids/tops! They played with them like they were helicopters. They liked being able to open them by themselves. They also like the fruit 'people' hiding on the bottom of the pouches.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? My oldest wasn't sure about the mango flavoured one at at first as it has a gritty texture and he was expecting a yogurt rather than a smoothie. Once I explained that it was meant to be that way he was quite happy. The consensus of all three children was that they preferred the strawberry and strawberry and apple flavours of the smoothie and the yogurt, then mango and lastly the banana.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
These are very easy to take on trips out. They would easily go to the zoo, the woods, on a hike, train journeys, etc. (You get the idea). They do not need to be in the fridge so can just be chucked in a ruck sack for your trip out.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
I would consider these to be a healthy-ish snack. It is a lot better than some snacks that you see. I was a bit put off to see the added sugar though
BraayTigger · 24/10/2017 10:54

Thanks GoGO SqueeZ / Mumsnet for all of these fab pouches! Was very generous amount.
My thoughts as follows:

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Really good - my children love pouches as find them easy to open/eat and are no mess. The pouch size was just right - some are far too big.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The packaging is colourful which my kids like. Pouches are generally just a big hit in my house - namely as are seen as a fun treat.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
My older children seem to prefer the yogurt ones. However, my younger daugher (2) likes both equally. All were liked.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
On shopping trips (when tiredness/hunger kicks in_. Treat on a Friday after nursery/school. Trip to the farm or park.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Ish - i get that these pouches are all relatively natural - no added sugars etc - however i feel a piece of actual fruit or natural yogurt is far better nutritionally. I would still give these as a healthy treat snack but probably only once or twice a week maximum.
Anomite · 24/10/2017 11:13

1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

Nice packaging, I lked the branding- I was impressed with the amount of product I was sent to test.

2. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They like the concept of the pouch, they liked the packaging and of course the flavours!

3. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

My 8 year old loved the yoghurt pouches, he refused to eat the fruit ones as he said it was "baby food" he preferred the banana flavour.
My 5 year old loved them all, in particular Apple & strawberry!

4. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

After school, after an activity like swimming etc, just to have handy in my bag just in case.

5. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes, although obviously not as healthy as "real" fruit- in my opinion it is a better snack than say crisps or sweets.
Thank you for selecting me! (Smile)

Baldwin1973 · 24/10/2017 11:16

I like the packaging and the flavours look like the kind of thing my children will enjoy eating. I have bought these in the past as they looked reasonably healthy and not full of sugar. Plus you don't need to keep them in the fridge so I can keep them in my bag al day.

My children like the packaging, plus the little green bit that you twist off to open the pouches. They loved all of the flavours except for the banana one which no-one is eating. The smoothy ones have gone down very well. They loved having a house full of exciting looking treats.

Their favourite flavour was the strawberry yoghurt one.

I will most definitely continue buying these in the future. The only slight thing that puts me off is that they are quite expensive compared with other brands. I do think they are a bit healthier though so worth it.Will probably look out for supermarket offers and stock up.

Yes I would think it is pretty healthy

Jengle · 24/10/2017 11:35

First of all, thank you for picking us to trial this product, when the box was delivered we were shocked and excited at how much we had to try!

1; Our first impressions were good, the packaging is speaking to children and I loved that it advertised gluten free as my daughter can’t eat gluten and I’m often standing for ages reading packing, but this was quick and easy to see that it would be suitable for her.

2; my children loved the yougurt pouches and they loved the tops of the tubes, they ended up playing airplanes with them afterwards.

3; we loved the flavour variety, my son liked the strawberry one and my daughter preferred the yogurt ones.

4; I used them in lunchboxes, it was good knowing they could open them without me there.

5; yes, I wish these had been around when my children were going through the picky toddler stage as I would have given these as a healthy snack and had peace of mind that they were eating.

Thanks again for picking us, we will be buying these regularly, particularly the yogurt ones.

JuneFromBethesda · 24/10/2017 11:40
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Handy packs, appealing designs and I liked the choice of flavours
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They really liked the look of them, and they particularly liked the twist-off tops! The yoghurt was a hit, particularly the strawberry - I would definitely buy these again.

My younger daughter (aged 6) has fruit smoothies from another brand every day; she's not keen on fruit so this is one way to ensure she gets some daily. She was excited to try the GoGoSqueez fruit pouches but unfortunately she didn't like the slightly grainy texture, and neither did my elder child. The brand she usually eats has a very smooth texture so I guess that's what she's used to.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They liked the flavours of the fruit smoothies (but not the texture). The strawberry yoghurt was the clear winner.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
With breakfast, with lunch, mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack, after dinner ... I really like products like this which can be chucked in a bag to take with us when we're going somewhere, and are neat and easy to eat, no cutlery needed.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Healthier than a biscuit or packet of crisps, certainly - and at least with some fruit, and the yoghurts have calcium and protein. So healthier than some of the options out there!

Thanks for sending these to us to try!

9kidswhoscounting · 24/10/2017 12:19
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

A nice healthy snack, we liked the animated packaging. These are really great for lunchboxes and on the go.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

My children DS 8, DD 6, DD 4, DD 3 tested them and they liked the packaging and the "helicopter" openings. My DD 3 years old kept saying "are they baby food" as my youngest 8 months has Ella's kitchen ones sometimes.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They all unanimously loved the yogurt ones over the fruit ones, but they still did eat them.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

At home when the fruit bowl is empty, on the go and the yogurt ones for the lunchboxes.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes I would. As there are mainly fruit and have extra vitamins added. They do have added sugar in the yogurt ones that's probably why my kids preferred them :), but the added sugar is not considerably more than other yogurts pouches.

Thank you letting us try them.

MrsKHammond · 24/10/2017 12:46

1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

Before giving the pouches to the kids I noticed the kids, I like the size of them and the fact the kids would be able to grip them in order to open them themselves.

2. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They really enjoyed trying them. They preferred the yogurts but also really enjoyed the mango and apple fruit pouches.

3. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

Strawberry yogurt was a big hit in this house but as mentioned mango and apple was also a favourite. They found apple on its own to be a little ‘boring’ although the baby (1 year old) enjoyed every flavour and they were really easy for her to feed herself.

4. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

After school snack or in a lunch box. We also gave as a snack before they went to breakfast club before school which actually made them get ready quicker as they were looking forward to trying a new flavour.

5. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Yes, I like that the fruit pouches are 1/5 a day. After checking the ingredients I can see there isn’t any artificials added which also made it an easier snack to allow.

Thank you for picking us to test the product, I would recommend this to others for sure and will be keeping my eyes open on future shopping trips.

NameChangeNeedsSleep · 24/10/2017 13:08

1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general? Bright and attractive packaging, and although it does say they don’t need refrigerated I just couldn’t get my head around not putting yoghurt in the fridge!

2. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? They loves the pouches and the flavours, plus how easy my DS could open them when he struggles with things like frubes etc.

3. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? They absolutely loved the flavours, especially the mango fruit one and the banana yoghurt.

4. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? brilliant to pop in their pack lunch or as a snack after school.

5. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Definitely healthy but would never replace them eating actual fruit.

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 24/10/2017 16:34
  1. I like them. The packaging is good - easy to open, brightly coloured and designed to interest children. It's great that they don't need to be refrigerated, are robust and have a long shelf life - perfect for keeping in your bag or in the car etc for when the kids are getting hangry.
  1. The children really enjoyed the fruit ones, but didn't like the strawberry yogurt ones. We haven't tried the banana yogurt ones yet, because the other yogurt flavour was so disliked.
  1. The apple and mango flavour was everyone's favourite. They enjoyed all the fruity varieties though.
  1. These are perfect for keeping in my bag or for taking to school pick up.
  1. In moderation, yes they're reasonably healthy.
Redyoyo · 24/10/2017 17:33
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general? My kids were really excited to try the products out, the bright packaging looked good and the fact that they did not need to go in the fridge was a big plus.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? They were a bit funny at first as the packaging is very like their cousins baby food but once they tried it they were fine. It was easy for eldest to open but youngest struggled opening the lid.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They tried the fruit ones first my 7 year old liked it my 5 year old not so much. Both loved the yogurt ones both flavours.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? I have given them as an alternative to a yogurt tube in the pack lunches this week, which is fab as one kid never eats the yogurt and I bin it at the end of the day but if she doesn't eat it I can put it back in for the next day or she can have it after school. I may also keep a box in the car for handy snacks instead of sweets and other messy treats.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? I would say yes although it's not the healthiest. My kids do eat a lot of fresh fruit especially my youngest who would probably rather have a whole Apple but at the moment with her 2 front teeth missing it does make a good alternative.

All in they went down quite well in our house, I would buy the yogurt ones regularly depending on the price right enough. Thank you for letting us try them.

Dilligaf81 · 24/10/2017 18:06

1/ they loved them. All 4 had a different favourite bit none were disliked.

2/ they liked the packaging, the twist off to people were easy so no mess and the flavours.

3/ they liked the flavours with an even split between them for the yoghurt or fruit ones.slyhough one of them disliked a flavour enough not to eat it again.

4/ id use these as a snack replacement rather than instead of real fruit. I wouldn't replace fruit in their lunch box with these but would use them on a long journey in place of messier fruit.

5/ yes if they are replacing chocolate/crisps or biscuits but wouldn't never use these to replace proper fruit.

luanda111 · 24/10/2017 19:01
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
This snack is tasty. They love apples, bananas and strawberries.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Bananas are big favourites at our house.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Definitely on the go in the car. GoGo squeeZ is a long car journey saver.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Definitely, snacks with real fruit and yogurt are always healthy.

I received the email to say I had been chosen to test these but I never got them :-/
