You magazine eco columnist and editor of a Slice of Organic Life, Sheherazade Goldsmith, will be joining us for an online chat to share her green tips on Wednesday June 18th from 1-2pm. Sheharazade is an eco mum with three children under ten. She's launching the Peter Rabbit Naturally Better initiative which sees the well-loved Beatrix Potter creation become the first ever licensed character to go green.

Created in 1893, the naughty little rabbit is the oldest licensed children's character in the world and this new initiative reflects the importance that Beatrix Potter placed on the natural world and the environment.

If you can't make it on Weds, you can post your questions in advance here. Otherwise, we'll see you with your organic salads (home grown of course ) on weds lunchtime.

Do you do anything which isn't a promotion in order to make sales of some description?

BeauLocks · 13/06/2008 16:15

DarthVader · 13/06/2008 16:28

I hear you frequently travel from London to Devon by train using the first class compartment. Can you really expect others to exchange the train for the car if they can only afford to stand sit in second class?

DarthVader · 13/06/2008 16:31

Would you fly more if Zac were not frightened of flying?

DarthVader · 13/06/2008 16:55

Have you considered using your organic farm to supply subsidised organic food to your local state schools?

Boco · 13/06/2008 16:59

How come this has been unstuck? Look, it keeps falling, is it all off?

bundle · 13/06/2008 17:00

Monkeytrousers · 13/06/2008 17:42

is this a windup?

buntinglicious · 13/06/2008 17:50

Are we going to get told off?

ButterflyBessie · 13/06/2008 17:54

Told off for what?

Saying what you think, it must be easy to be green if you have the money to pay people to do things for you

DarthVader · 13/06/2008 18:04

well why is shezzy G coming on mumsnet? Is she a regular ?
Does she need to promote her new book ?
Is she a pal of carriemumsnet ?
Does nobody else want to talk to us because we are so foxy ?

zippitippitoes · 13/06/2008 18:06

does everything we say have to be a question

DarthVader · 13/06/2008 18:06

no but apparently everything I say does ?

DarthVader · 13/06/2008 18:11

well i think that the international issue of how much farting cows do is a vitally important green issue. in fact all farting is greenhouse gas-tastic.

Going vegetarian reduces the requirement for farting cows but increases the volume of human farting. How does Shezz feel that this works out in terms of carbon footprints? And I would suggest that her family is farting more than mine as I have only one child - is it really ok to deal with this by planting 1.1M trees in your back garden?

girlshookup · 13/06/2008 18:13

God I love MN, only found it this week, this thread is fandabbydozey. Why should you get told off- they are real questions from real people. Most Europeans live in cities and have very little acces to farms, geese, real cows- council don't like 'em on the verges. Most people have trouble foraging real food in shops never mind putting what they don't eat in the compost. Darth v- love that shezzy g name- bet theres a record launch soon- Naughty Peter B goes urban Green feat shezzy g... the world's their lobster...sorry rambling now, friday afternoon should go home to dd and give her pizza and ice cream becos she did brill her exams

zippitippitoes · 13/06/2008 18:15

i thought perhaps we could just have an aussie soap upward inflection at the end instead ^

girlshookup · 13/06/2008 18:17

That'd be right^
