We'll still be sweeping up the biscuit crumbs left from the Jennifer Saunders webchat as we prepare for the return of Gok Wan to Mumsnet Towers on Friday 11 October at 1.45pm. Since his last visit in Summer 2010, Gok has produced 2 cookery books and his latest, Gok's Wok is published this week.

Gok shares many of his family's traditional recipes but gives them a modern twist as he teaches us how to cook, simple, fast meals with flavour and a splash of Gok originality. Chapters cover all occasions from lunches to dinner parties and include curries, stir-fries, noodles, salads, soups and desserts.

Join Gok on Friday at 1.45pm or post a question to him in advance to this thead and you'll be entered into a draw to win a SIGNED copy of Gok's Wok.

We have also teamed up with Gok and Sainsbury's to host a live cookalong on Google+. On Wednesday 16 October at 7pm Gok will be making two super-delicious dishes from his new book and he'd love you to join him in cooking them. Find out more here.

@AmberLeaf

Hello Gok.

Do you have any plans for another food/cooking TV series, I really enjoyed the one[?] you did before and would like to see more.

Thanks Smile

Hi Amber... I am not planning on making another cooking show this year but that doesn't mean I won't make one in 2014. I loved cooking on camera, it was a totally different experience for me. I do hope you like the new book.

Big Kiss

Hi gok I love you!! You are fabulous anyway my question is are there any recipes in your book that go down particularly well with fussy eaters? (i.e children) my daughter is a very fussy eater (she's autistic) and it's a struggle to get her to try new things but try I will! Thanks love xx

Sorry ABF! Blush

I'm sure they do the odd nice thing. Even a stopped clock tells the correct time twice a day.

AmberLeaf · 11/10/2013 14:01

Thank you Gok Smile

OddSockMonster · 11/10/2013 14:01

Grin It's not bad considering it was only £40.

GokWan · 11/10/2013 14:02

I understand that working mums are super busy. I have worked with these women for over 20 years.

When it comes to cooking for the family after caring for them, holding down a job and all the other responsibilities they have, it really is about prep. Veg' and marinades can be done 2-3 days before it needs to be used and doesn't need to take a lot of time. Wok cooking is actually one of the quickest ways of cooking... plus super healthy as it locks in all the nutrients.

ShadeofViolet · 11/10/2013 14:02

In this house we call it 'TU small' - the kids clothes are tiny.

Hullygully · 11/10/2013 14:02

Who was the doll with the huge arse and bad memory?

Get yerself some corsets doll, and some sexy high boots and thrust it out there proud.

Carry a notebook for the memory thing.

RippingYarns · 11/10/2013 14:02

Tbf TU school uniforms are pretty good too

So, what about the food, GokKy

BecauseYoureGorgeous · 11/10/2013 14:03

When making oriental curries do you use pre-made curry paste or are you a pestle-and-mortar type? Do you think pre-made paste is a reasonable substitute?

QueenOfAllBiscuitsandMuffins · 11/10/2013 14:03

You (generalised but still you) do realise that clothes don't actually hide the fact you have big boobs/thighs/bottom/stomach/knees/upperarms/whatever. Which means you might as well just wear clothes that you LIKE and make you happy and comfortable....

Just saying.
