Where did he find that humbling line?? On mumsnet of course!

In the article he claims to have given up self-googling, but we know that isn't true, don't we.

Shall we give him a few more personal insights? I think he is less of a twat than Jon Ronson and he doesn't have a whiney voice.

I actually do like Tim Dowling's Permachat column in the Graun. My first MN name, SixKindsOfCrisis, was in honour of that column, which really captures the delicious inanity of internet chat.

So Tim Dowling, for example, is quite good at mickey-taking the whole business of interchat.

On the other hand, he recently contributed a very boring few seconds to a very boring R4 programme about 'looking on the bright side' or some such tosh.
