It's Platinum Jubilee weekend for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you four days of celebrations in Playmoland. Today is King Athelstan's birthday parade. The route has been lined with bunting.

As usual with any royal occasion, Brendan has camped out overnight to secure the best place to view the parade.

Now this a a celebration I can really enjoy!

Crowds are starting to gather along the procession route.

Lots of people have turned up to watch the procession.

Oh dear, some people are blocking Brendan's view! He's been camping there all night and now people are standing in front of his tent!

Heading up the procession are some police escort motorcycles and a car.

Next is a carriage containing the Duke and Duchess of Waterbury.

They wave to the crowd.

Yay.

Normally I'm an anti monarchist but I'll make an exception for this. I love it so much

Hooray!! I was idly wondering at 4am if Norman and pals would be celebrating!! Not my cup of tea (the Jubilee) but I'm excited about this!

Next come some infantry, headed up by Sir Whitstable Blean.

They march past as the crowd wave flags.

In the next carriage are the Duke and Duchess of Ruggington.

They both look very happy.

Next come some mounted police, led by Basil on his horse PlusForce.

Everyone in the crowd is enjoying the spectacle.
