Is this positive?!

I’ve name changed for this. I am due in hospital tomorrow for a colposcopy because of periods being all over the place. Just decided to do a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side.
DH and I were told earlier this year it was very unlikely we could conceive due to my age and low AMH levels.

Was not expecting this. I’m not going nuts am I? Is this positive? Is there any way it could be wrong?

DH is at work & I can’t talk to him for a couple of hours. Am shaking.

Is this positive?!

We have had our early scan and there is definitely a baby in there and all is looking well.
It looks like I am almost 8 weeks.
Oh and there is only one. Phew!

I started laughing when I saw the baby on the screen! I think it was relief. The sonographer probably thinks I’m nuts Grin
DH and I were talking about how lucky we are afterwards. It still doesn’t quite feel 100% real.

Thank you so much for the well wishes.
We aren’t sharing the news with anyone in real life until after our scan in January, so it feels so nice to know so many of you are cheering us on!

I’m still having sickness on and off, and don’t have much appetite. DH picked up some more milkshake for me earlier and is in the kitchen now making a nice dinner while I relax. Hopefully he can keep up the excellent care for another seven months Smile

I have followed your thread since the start and put it in my 'watch this thread' folder. Thank you for the updates and a huge congratulations to you both. My DC are all grown up now but I still remember the excitement of the positive pregnancy test (and wondering what to do with it... I did not just want to bin it!) and the first scan. You have waited so long for this moment and we are all rooting for you. Enjoy Christmas, next year's will be very different!
