DH has come to tell me the DW didn't run properly last night so we're going to have to manage without cups today.

The man has a busy important job Confused

@AlexaPlayWhiteNoise

When we were TTC the first time round, we had an old cup that I took upstairs and used as my piss pot (for OPKs and prego tests). I kept it in my wardrobe. I was specific about it's purpose.

My DH has two (amongst others) bad habits; not listening to me, and rummaging in places which have nothing to do with him.

Long story short, he made his coffee in my piss mug. I didn't realise till he'd finished. I told him.

🤣🤣🤣🤣. Has he 'improved' since then? I'm guessing not as you said 's', not 'had'

Idiot man!

@HallFloor

Who knew this could be so controversial?

The dishwasher usually goes on after dinner and is emptied, by DH, in the morning.

Only the cups were dirty because only the top rack didn't clean. (Afaik, I didn't actually look)

No update since 4:30....

You must be a dishwasher troll!

😂😂I NEED to know how he struggled through!

@Barmyfarmy ah but if I divorced him then who would I complain about?!

Also he’s just brought me tea in bed. And he’s downstairs with the dc. And he’s emptied the dishwasher 😉

As an aside our dishwasher “rule” is that it goes on when it’s full. Most of the time it’s at the end of the day after dinner. And then gets emptied before breakfast.

Oh now that's true...
Mine woke me up at 4:30 because he'd dreamt he was covered in spiders Confused Can we swap? Wink

I don't even have a dishwasher! DC often try to wash up though so it's like having 2 very noisy dishwashers that sing...

nosswith · 13/12/2020 09:44

In my house there is no dishwasher. We manage and we do drink other than water!

“The top rack didn’t clean”

Mine did this, I had a poke about and found the holes in the spray arm were blocked with gunk. Spent some ‘ this is just like being pimple popper’ time de gunging the holes with the biggest needle I could find.

Morning, everyone! This thread has had a few nominations for it to go into Classics so we're going to move it there now.

@LadyHedgehog

Dishwasher is an attended appliance and should not be run overnight, according to manufacturers and the fire brigade.
Ours has a delay button to specifically start it when I'm not here though..... Confused
