TC is clearly suitably impressed by his fame

TC then tried to walk in through the front door while we were chatting.

Yes!! TC has so far appropriated the cars, the boat, the patio, the patio table, the patio chairs, the garden, occasionally the sacred inner sanctum, now the male human (I believe TC has previously claimed the female human?), the takeover is very close to completion.

That's right,Grumpy.....I remember now that Mrs. Grumpy rules the roost....you were in big trouble the last time you allowed TC in the house.
TC knows who is in charge and that he'd better not step out of line.

Someone (ds1 who is back from uni for a few days) left the patio door ajar.
Came in to find TC taking advantage.
Mrs Grumpy hissed at TC to go away - TC just looked up at her and hissed back

TC seems to be on constant watch for any breaches in the defences of Grumpy's house. I couldn't believe the photo of him sitting on your lap, Grumpy. I can only assume it gave him a better vantage point for something or other. Or to get you on his side so it is easier to get into the Grumpy Citadel. TC is a master tactician.

TC and Sybil are celebrating their mumsnet anniversary by relaxing on the patio within 3 feet of each other.

Look at TC's happy face, tilted towards the sun like a sunflower. And poor, skinny Sybil - obviously never fed...

DS1 came back for a few days this week from uni. He commented, just after I took the photos above, that TC hadn't tried to bite him once since he'd been back.

That status has now changed 😹
