I suspect that NDN leaves TC's coat management to TC .

Just out of curiosity - how much do you reckon TC weighs? He is a very...healthy looking feline.

Note, I am not suggesting that Grumpy takes his life into his hands and puts TC on a scale, just wondering if anyone has any estimates.

I have it on good authority (NDN) that TC's maximum weight was 6.9kg .
He might be a little bit less than that now but he's still a chunky sod.
Basil is a big lad (c. 6kg) but he's long (proof enclosed). TC definitely always feels fatter heavier.

Oooh Grumpy how very dare you - TC is not a fatty, just in his prime with perfectly formed muscles (which as the myth goes weigh more than fat). TC has worked out to perfect his Adonis look to tempt the ever lovely Sybil, probably got one of those Arnold Schwarzenegger chest expander thingies!!

Boycat is a long, lithe build and HE weighs 6kg, he's just big. No fat shaming allowed here!

BastardCat was almost 9 kilos; obviously all muscle.

Time to explain cats. Not very scientific but this may help.
Cats can be small, medium, big, or bloody enormous.
Separately, cats can be skinny, just right, or fat gits.
Examples.
Basil is a big, just right cat.
Sybil is a small, verging on skinny cat.
And much as it may disappoint some of his fans TC is a big, fat cat.

I can see a family resemblence.

He still seems pretty agile . There is no way my friend 's very fat cat could make it to sit on a fence .
