So pleased - thank you!

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 14/08/2020 10:18

Just wandered in to say how gorgeous your cat is.

lionseptember · 14/08/2020 10:19

I have read every update and just love TC and his extended family

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 14/08/2020 10:21

Ah. Late to the party. So handsome cat is Thug Cat?

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 14/08/2020 10:22

Feels the need to channel Grandmother, and say, 'Handsome is as handsome does'. Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 14/08/2020 10:22

He's gazing at his reflection, isn't he?

AnneKipanki · 14/08/2020 10:45

Definitely a calendar required!

Allergictoironing · 14/08/2020 10:54

@YetAnotherSpartacus

He's gazing at his reflection, isn't he?
More like gazing at little ducklings swimming about on the river - and wondering how he can get to them without getting wet! Grin
Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 14/08/2020 13:05

I think even TC would hesitate to take on mum and dad here.

Oh! How gorgeous! Is it a river or a canal?

CassandraCross · 14/08/2020 13:12

The epitome of nonchalance, when you know you're fabulous and have legions of adoring fans, you know, no need to strutGrin.

CassandraCross · 14/08/2020 13:13

@YetAnotherSpartacus

He's gazing at his reflection, isn't he?
Are you implying a touch of Narcissus, another of the literary TC's many personas?Grin
Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 14/08/2020 13:34

River - it's a backwater on the Thames.

It's really a privilege to live by the water & we love the wildlife round us; apart from the usual water fowl we also regularly see herons, kingfishers, cormorants, red kites and bloody noisy parakeets. All good for ornithologically inclined cats. Grin
I was slightly surprised to spot this chap when out on the boat a week ago though.

Oh yes, Grumpy .Parents to avoid.

Supersimkin2 · 14/08/2020 17:58

What is that TA (Thug Amphibian) doing so far from Loch Ness?!

DobbyLovesSocks · 15/08/2020 10:20

Have just discovered this chain of threads. Thanks
I have three cats - one 16 (B/W) and two tabbies who are three. They are all half the size of TC so wonder if I have done something wrong with their food all these years?

BovaryX · 16/08/2020 13:13

What lovely pictures of swans! And as Cassandra says, TC in the role of Narcissus.....

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/08/2020 13:23

He actually looks quite melancholy - possibly thinking of lost loves Sybil

BovaryX · 16/08/2020 14:04

Yes, the melancholy, contemplative side of TC, gazing into the limpid pool, filled with existential angst.....

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/08/2020 14:07

I'm imagining that Millais' Ophelia will float down any minute ...

BovaryX · 16/08/2020 14:11

TC's Pre Raphaelite qualities....

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/08/2020 14:16

And Sybil's...

ClaudiaAndTheCauldron · 16/08/2020 14:29

I wonder if TC would like to meet my cat Coco?

Here she is sunbathing in the garden

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/08/2020 14:31

Oh. My Goodness! What an admirable future Ms TC!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 17/08/2020 12:08

NDN mislaid (!) their 6ft corn snake last Thursday.
Having not seen TC for a few days I phoned to check.
Corn snake has turned up in their bathroom this morning and TC was at home for breakfast so all is well. Grin.
