TC is clearly suitably impressed by his fame

Has he thought about touring?.

Sweetpea1532 · 10/09/2020 15:46

@Labellesusage @, I think cats have a way of showing dogs that they are the boss with their superior attitude😼. My Gracie( puggie) once tried to bark at and intimidate my mum's cat...Ha! Mr. Cat showed Gracie right away who was the boss with one swipe of his treacherous paw across her face....that was all it took....from then on Gracie has been very respectful terrified of any feline...she will bark and growl at even the largest dog, but shivers at the sight of a cat. It was very sad to see how downtrodden she was after mum's cat set her straight and then proceeded to make himself comfy by curling up in Gracie's bed without a care in the world!😂

Supersimkin2 · 10/09/2020 18:33

TC could start his celeb career as a warm-up, that's generally how it works.

Post him to Ricky Gervais. That'll teach the bugger to call himself an animal lover.

labellesusage · 10/09/2020 19:52

If I hadn't been struggling to stop dog from either attempting to eat cat or bolt in opposite direction , I would of filmed it. Bold as brass this feline was. But my auntie had a huge Bengal that stalked people as would leap off the shed roof to attack cuddle them!
Won't be walking down that road for a bit anyway

Sweetpea1532 · 10/09/2020 22:19

I saw my neighbour's cat get a right dose of comeuppance once. He was chasing a lizard through the grass( lizard was at least 10 inches long, so he'd been around for awhile) All of a sudden the lizard stopped running, turned around, jumped up and BIT the cat on the cheek!! I almost fainted! The lizard would not let go until the kitty had shaken his head back and forth numerous times....my mouth was hanging open...I don't know who was more surprised, me or kitty! We both learned a new respect for big lizards that dayGrin

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats
This thread has been going for so long I can't remember if you told us whether TC likes to get fish out of your little tributary? I've seen wild cats catch and eat fish...same with mongrel dogs that live at the ocean in Mexico...I always wondered how they eat raw fish without having digestive issues with the bones...I guess they might though as no human is necessarily around to see it.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 11/09/2020 08:33

I've never seen TC or any of my cats fishing I'm afraid.
A previous cat of mine did go into the backwater to catch a moorhen once - the moorhen escaped, largely because the cat tried to get through railings but failed due to said moorhen in his mouth.

The striped one looks particularly glamorous in his pre attack pictures. The green and purple backdrop suits him. I think a portrait should be commissioned of TC.....

purrswhileheeats · 11/09/2020 15:35

@Sweetpea1532 poor kitty 🙀😹

Years ago I saw a cat running along the street with a magpie in its mouth. The magpie managed to escape and flew up to a tree and went mental, squawking in rage. 20 seconds later a gang (mischief?) of magpies appeared and chased the terrified cat down the street 🙀🙀😹

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 11/09/2020 18:30

So whereas I've never seen TC go in the water - his doggy housemates seem very much at home in the river.

Poor TC, what a rabble. No wonder he has to slope off and find love next door Grin

Sweetpea1532 · 12/09/2020 05:56

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats
And PURRS...
From our antidotes it seems like the only beings that cats can boss around are dogs and humans. Grin
@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats
Thanks for the pup photo...they are adorable just standing there up to their knees in the water

PaternosterLoft · 12/09/2020 10:01

Does TC bully the dogs as well?

BovaryX · 12/09/2020 10:20

I think that picture explains TC's determined campaign to breach Feline Nirvana. They look like a boisterous crew....

Supersimkin2 · 12/09/2020 17:10

Three?!*? Surprised TC isn't on the phone to the RSPCA. Poor neglected little love.

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/09/2020 17:17

I’m sure Tc has those dogs under control.

PaternosterLoft · 13/09/2020 11:32

I’m sure Tc has those dogs under control.
Perhaps they don't provide the challenge he prefers so that's why he's obsessed with next door.
Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 16/09/2020 21:39

In my continuing battle with TC I today decided to 'ring' him. It worked - he sat in the tyre (by our open back door) looking decidedly confused for at least 10 minutes Grin

I've seen a heron facing off with a cat who fancied hunting along the same stream.

Cat retreated sharpish.

Allergictoironing · 17/09/2020 12:08

A place I used to work was a big industrial site by the coast, and had a stray cat who would hang around - encouraged by the cat lover who would feed it regularly and only didn't adopt it because his own cat wouldn't stand for it.

This was a small cat, but a mighty hunter. I've seen it bring down large blackbirds and rats, and apparently it has taken down small seagulls!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 17/09/2020 16:52

One of my previous cats (the same one in the moorhen incident) decided to have a go at a black swan in the garden. As soon as the swan turned to face him and hissed at him the cat legged it Grin.

Meanwhile TC is owning the patio table today.

We used to call that patch of gingery tummy hair on our Bengal his Sporren.

I do not know if he actually had Scottish dna.
