I hope M's carers go and knock on Bs door and make her move.

originalcatlady · 10/03/2020 08:26

M has just been across knocking on Bs door. Assume she told her very quickly and in no uncertain terms to move now. C has returned and parked in 3 and D is still in 1. B is now allllllll the way down the road behind Strange Car next to X Grin

I think F may be on holiday. There's too little drama for the frequent use of her space for it to be otherwise!

🤣 this is getting ridiculous

Doublethesarcasm · 10/03/2020 08:46

She's got some brass neck parking on M's drive Shock

originalcatlady · 10/03/2020 09:00

Interesting how there was no massive joint rant about all the neighbours meaning there's nowhere to park. All over very quick. I feel M isn't happy.

Good for M.. I would be royally cheesed off too.. Why does B think its acceptable? The thing is because M was quiet about it the first time and joined B in ranting about others parking B now feels entitled to her driveway.. Good on M for putting her in ehr place.. But we will see if it happens again tonight when hopefully there are no other spaces available.. What was Bs reaction when M told her to move.. Did she have a rant about how ridiculous the parking is or just quietly do as she was told.. Which I would be surprised at.. Also more importantly.. Was she wearing her pink dressing gown?

Tandia · 10/03/2020 09:12

Does 'behind strange car' mean she is blocking strange car in?

LargeGinOnTap · 10/03/2020 09:16

I want to say I'd feel mortified if someone who has community nurses coming in so clearly isn't well ( or anyone for that matter) knocked on my door because I'd parked on their drive. But I wouldn't park on their driveway in the first place anyway so it's a mute point how I'd feel.

Was B best mates with the previous M who allowed her to park there so b thinks the arrangement is still on

originalcatlady · 10/03/2020 10:11

It means B is almost at the junction of the road.
M has lived here forever.
B just quietly did what she was told. Very very odd.

NoGravyForYou · 10/03/2020 10:32

Did M mind when B parked there a few weeks ago?

originalcatlady · 10/03/2020 10:41

It didn't seem so, it led to a massive bitching session in the street. Maybe when it was a one off she wasn't so bothered. Now it looks like she will just park there all the time, she's not so happy?

Stressedout10 · 10/03/2020 10:46

Maybe someone should suggest 1 of these to M 🐧

HelloBambinos · 10/03/2020 20:47

What's the situation at the moment @originalcatlady?

PunkyPirate · 10/03/2020 20:52

Eagerly awaiting tonight's instalment of Alphabet Street.

originalcatlady · 10/03/2020 21:16

Ah nothing to see here tonight folks! Space for everyone to have half a space extra 😉

In my local supermarket this evening about the time the store stocks the shelves (including much coveted loo roll!), old couple walks by as I'm at the self checkout... "This is ridiculous, it can't go on..."

Had to have a little chuckle Grin

originalcatlady · 11/03/2020 16:32

Sooo C returned this morning, and because B was in her usual spot, parked in 2/3. D has now returned and has parked in 1/2. There's definitely touching going on.

Mrs K has parked in 4 all week, but I'm assuming now that F are away. Far too drama-less non-reaction to all this rule breaking for otherwise.

OP posts:
TeetotalKoala · 11/03/2020 17:27

D is being very passive aggressive!

Space in X and Y for B?

originalcatlady · 11/03/2020 17:44

Who invented Y? 🤣

C has now gone again so B will have to choose between X and 3. All those extra steps to her front door...

Assuming no one else comes home to add to the fun!

OP posts:
TeetotalKoala · 11/03/2020 18:45

Easier than explaining 'next to X'.

Hours yet before B comes home. Still time.

originalcatlady · 11/03/2020 19:12

Excellent. We have space Y Smile.

No change yet. D looks to have gone to bed so even if no one fills up, she's still got a very "ridiculous" decision to make!

OP posts:
TeetotalKoala · 11/03/2020 19:24

Sounds like she's got plenty of space to manoeuvre into, with 3 being an end space, plus part of 2, but we know that that simply won't be good enough.

F needs to hurry up and come back off holiday too.

HelloBambinos · 11/03/2020 19:31

Oh dear her precious 1/2 space isn't available.. How ridiculous.. This can't go on you know 🤣.. Last night was disappointing let's hope tonight makes up for it

givemebooks · 11/03/2020 22:06

Did she Y or not and is it all still ridiculous? :)

Anyone else feel sad for Mr B and the ear full he must be getting every night!

HelloBambinos · 11/03/2020 23:00

I feel said for Mr B definitely.. He's resorted to his shrugging due to years of trying to be supportive but being told he's ridiculous no doubt.. Also having a wife that can't park a 206 and gets this frustrated over parking must be so embarrassing.
