She parked in X. It's so ridiculous. It can't carry on.
Not sure what she thinks that standing glaring at cars at 10pm will achieve 🤷‍♀️

😂😂😂

TeetotalKoala · 12/03/2020 07:25

Was 3 still empty though?! The entitlement of her parking in a disabled bay because it's closer to her house than a legitimate space.

WhatICallMyUsername · 12/03/2020 08:47

Presumably a legitimate space that she can't actually park in though Grin

WatchOutLurkerAbout · 12/03/2020 09:02

Standing glaring at cars at 10pm...

Sounds like the start of a song or something Grin

originalcatlady · 12/03/2020 10:14

3 would have been just as easy, if not easier to park in; so totally unfair that she chose X.

C returned before she was up this morning, and replaced D in 1/2 Grin

Glaring at Cars would be a good band name. Grin

mrsBtheparker · 12/03/2020 10:40

Is X an official disabled spot, (I'm sure we've been told but I can't trawl through 3 threads!)? If it is then someone needs to ostentatiously take photos of her car parked in there, making sure she's watching, if she does the pink-dressing-gown dash say its misuse may be reported to the relevant authority.

NoGravyForYou · 12/03/2020 10:56

I hope someone reports the constant illegal use of x 😉

BigFatLiar · 12/03/2020 11:26

Is X an official disabled spot

Don't know really. If the space is marked in white it should be advisory (should not park rather than must not park) however there is a proper sign which seems to say no parking in front of door (or similar) which isn't a disabled sign just a straight no parking sign. So I suspect that the space is advisory and the no parking relates to A's drive/garage (can't remember if he has one).

TeetotalKoala · 12/03/2020 21:38

Checking in for the evening

HelloBambinos · 12/03/2020 22:32

What happened this evening op?

originalcatlady · 12/03/2020 22:38

Absolutely nothing. B and D are the only cars in the entire street. Where is everyone?!

OP posts:
originalcatlady · 12/03/2020 22:40

I think @BigFatLiar is right but I do believe L mentioned it to the council. Either way, there's only two people who ever feel entitled enough to use it.

sunshinesupermum · 13/03/2020 08:23

Wonder what will happen if everyone is told to work from home? B will be jumping around moving her car more than usual.

originalcatlady · 13/03/2020 08:28

Hahaha. If she gets her spot I imagine she won't move for a month. But imagine if everyone else got sent home before her and THEY didn't move for a month Grin

A council official has just visited A and when he left he took photos of the footpath and parking space (where C is currently parked) Grin

Tandia · 13/03/2020 11:29

Ooh this could get even more interesting!!

mrsBtheparker · 13/03/2020 11:34

A council worker? Did you see ID? Has someone sent round a ringer to wind everyone up? Does the council read MN? If it's not an authorised disabled spot then they may be told to remove any restriction signs, in which case my money's on B as the grass! More likely to be a carer who's complained about not being able to access A.
Why do I bother wasting money on whodunits?

Gooseysgirl · 13/03/2020 12:31

🍿 brilliant!!!

Longtime · 13/03/2020 12:50

My dad had a disabled bay. They painted on the road plus put up a sign on the pillar at the gate. When he died they came round almost immediately to take away the sign but didn’t paint over the road for ages. So if you see a painted bay in a private road but no sign, it’s no longer a disabled bay.

Mum was also told that anyone with a blue badge could park there so it didn’t guarantee they would be able to park outside the house.

Raindancer411 · 13/03/2020 15:58

Yep, any blue badge holder can use a bay. Friend had one put in for her husband as they have a blue badge and she was fold the same.

Sissymate2 · 13/03/2020 16:23

@originalcatlady
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You were so right last week when you told me Alphabet street was a never ending saga....can't wait to hear the new phrases after the council persons assessment from B and the usually quiet C! Run up to DSs so you can get a good listen, ok? And report back...oh and I love the thought of the possibility of a self insolation on A S....of course, you do that any way, so no problems for you! But you may need to record all the goings on as there's bound to be a lot of shenanigans going on and we wouldn't want to miss a single word!
Yes! And it's the weekend again! Btw, have you noticed B unloading an unusually large abundance of loo roll from her weekly shop?

originalcatlady · 13/03/2020 17:46

Erm i actually did see her come home with 2 x 24 packs this morning Blush

So, it's early, but these are our starting points...

Strange Car in the newly named Y.
White van in X.
C in 1/2.
D in 3.
Mr K in 4.

So Mrs K will go in the other Y - space for two if you're sensible.

So it all hangs on what white van does. But even if he leaves, she still doesn't get her space as C looks to be in for the night 🍿
