Is this one of those things that happens to every woman but nobody talks about.

5 minutes after a bath and its like your water just broke...

This is a thing yeah?

FishOn
Sounds like your presenting yourself to the Britons got talent judges :D

Lolimax · 03/05/2016 20:24

2 CS's here and yes it happens to me as well. Probably far too much info but I can only use the super plus li lets (as all the others fall out ha ha).

FishOn · 03/05/2016 20:25

Nerdy - well that would make interesting telly Grin

Knotnora · 03/05/2016 20:25

Sitting on a towel works. I've taken to sitting on the edge of the bath and tensing.

There always seems to be a little pocket hiding though!

would have to be after the watershed....badoom tish....

eurochick · 03/05/2016 20:25

It doesn't happen to me (delivered early by c section so I guess things didn't get too stretched down there).

SoThatHappened · 03/05/2016 20:26

Actually yes once ...when I had sex in the bath. But other than that no.

MrsJayy · 03/05/2016 20:27

You know when you think you have spoken about everything on mumsnet then this pops along 😁 yes sometimes it happens to me

LifeBeginsNow · 03/05/2016 20:29

Yes and no DC's (yet). I tend to put my feet up on the side if the water is too hot so this may explain it.

I've taken to standing in the water for a couple of mins to let gravity do its thing before I get out.

Being a woman is great Grin

KirstyJC · 03/05/2016 20:30

God I love MN! Grin

Knotnora · 03/05/2016 20:33

Right I think it's the legs up thing

All you no lot need to go and try it.

This is why vaginas are self cleaning Wink

Sigh.

The things I do for Mumsnet eh.

MrsJayy · 03/05/2016 20:36

Its the rinse cycle

Alisvolatpropiis · 03/05/2016 20:37

I remember this from when I was little and had baths. Not sure if it would happen more now I've had a child, last bath I was in was the one I spent some time labouring in. Strictly a shower person.

It is a thing though, definitely.

Knotnora · 03/05/2016 20:37

Never happens to me

Makesomethingupyouprick · 03/05/2016 20:38

I think this may be related to having had children and there are very frequent threads about it on MN.

Never happened to me (childless). Also never forgot I had a tampon inserted or had sex with a tampon in, had a tampon 'flip over' inside me nor had one fall out (all things I've read on MN)!.

And I'm not trying to be rude as to be honest, I'd much prefer having had the opportunity to have a child and experience possible vaginal side effects but sometimes I read threads (not so much water in the vagina which I can imagine happening for some women but not so much tampons falling out etc) and think HOW?

SoThatHappened · 03/05/2016 20:38

I lie down an put legs up all the time, either side of the taps.

It is a muscle thing. It's why you dont get water up your arse in the bath....way too tight.

ScarletForYa · 03/05/2016 20:38

No Confused

MadisonMontgomery · 03/05/2016 20:38

No! But then I haven't had kids. I feel like there should be a list of stuff like this so people can make an informed decision on whether to have children or just stick with a dog 😁

Pinkheart5915 · 03/05/2016 20:39

Forgot to say I do have a child, but it doesn't happen to me.
Maybe I'll get the joys of this after baby number 2 Sad

Libitina · 03/05/2016 20:40

I've never had it happen to me. I quite often lie with one foot propped on the sink too.

Pipbin · 03/05/2016 20:40

DP says its not a thing
Is DP the fully qualified owner of a vagina? If not then he can shut up.
It happens to me if I sit a certain way. No babies here.
