to ask if you sad when, after starting a topice, no one responds?

I used to think that I was a good writer. But, since joining MN, I have to face the sad realisation that this is untrue. If I comment on a thread, it dies, and if I start a thread, no one answers! I give up. I know I am a good reader, I will stick to that from now on....

amazingmumof6 · 20/05/2013 21:04

scrummummy · 20/05/2013 21:21

Hi looked back at thread thinking I had killed it pleased I haven't but still wants it to continue

ZenOfPetals · 20/05/2013 21:45

Not dead yet...I saw the snot kids mother waiting to collect the children, and she started talking about how kind my DS is (to my amazment), so I was abashed and could not bring up the issue

hands up if you think we should keep this thread alive to 1000 posts just for the heck of it? [handsup emoticon]

then get it into Classics and ask MNHQ to create a [paramedic] emoticon for resuscitating dying threads in the future?
and a [threadkiller] one for insecure newbies.

I love this thread

Iteotwawki · 21/05/2013 03:49

I would adore a thread-resuscitation-emoticon! The thread killer one could be a little scythe :) maybe the resus one should be a syringe of adrenaline?

Definite yes for keeping the thread alive to 1000 posts.

MummaBubba123 · 21/05/2013 06:41

Gosh, I've felt like that so often! Lol

Tanith · 21/05/2013 07:29

I never kill threads.

I merely post the unanswerable, brilliantly constructed reply that no-one can refute. Wink

amazingmumof6 · 21/05/2013 08:19

I think it should be [firstaid] or [red cross] for resuscitating the thread. and have a little red cross as the actual emoticon.

amazingmumof6 · 21/05/2013 08:20

Iteotwawki pinky swear?

MiniTheMinx · 21/05/2013 10:26

Still signs of life then.

Eskino · 21/05/2013 10:42

Yes but now I'm here...

Iteotwawki · 21/05/2013 11:18

Amazingmum cross my heart :) even if it's one post a day it'll get to 1000. In about 3 years. Will deserve Classics just for that!

I'm sure I'll still be here, watching the tumbleweed ... ;)

Tanith · 21/05/2013 12:19

Not far to go, really - not even 900 posts

Tanith · 21/05/2013 12:19
