to ask if you sad when, after starting a topice, no one responds?

I used to think that I was a good writer. But, since joining MN, I have to face the sad realisation that this is untrue. If I comment on a thread, it dies, and if I start a thread, no one answers! I give up. I know I am a good reader, I will stick to that from now on....

Please just use three dot dot dots (...) as sometimes you use more than three and it makes me itch! ;-)

That is the 'points of ellipsis (dot, dot, dot).

Hello! I'm back and I'm nabbing 874 :-)

have had the most amazing day singing (I sing baritone in female barbershop, it's fun!) and am now relaxing with DS1 (minecrafting) and drinking wine while DH and DS2 go out to refill the gas bottle and pick up some chinese takeout for dinner :-)

For everyone in the UK - you can feel all glowy and smug that your weather is probably fabtastic compared to the rain, greyness and shite that's hit NZ!

From random memory and in no particular order (and partly because one large glass of wine is already nestling into my brain cells)

  • blue I adore your poetry
  • zing I adore your Christmas tree, your cocktail, and I am Envy about your ability to make diamond shapes on the screen
  • zen I adore your thread (and your name)
  • thumb ... I don't adore worms :)
  • roomie glad your DD is better

and an extra random thought that I'm so glad blue has a good relationship with her son's gfs. I have the world's worst relationship with my MiL (there is a huge story to be told there) and I am really hoping that when my sons find someone to settle down with that I will like them (and that they will like me!)

Only joking - RL and work got in the way (I'm always busy towards the end of the week). Was in until gone midnight last night with a fairly complex case, hence the Wine now.

And I'm on my own computer for the first time in ever! DH built her for me, she's called Jellybean and she runs Ubuntu Linux :)

my kids live and breath minecraft. I feel like I lost them to virtual friends...
but I guess they could say the same about me being on MN!Grin
