It's always the strangest threads that take off. If I am posting something playful or daft it is a magnet for angry, literal minded people who think I'm mad and don't understand my OP and I end up in a head slapping, why did I bother position. Like when you make a play on words and everyone demands to know what you meant and you wish you had never bothered.

I ask simply for advice quite a lot and I am philosophical, either the readers are around who can help or they are not, and if they don't then never mind.

In can be annoying, especially if it was lighthearted. I think some posters get away with it more than others, but to me, that is what makes it such compulsive reading iyswim.
