I used to think that I was a good writer. But, since joining MN, I have to face the sad realisation that this is untrue. If I comment on a thread, it dies, and if I start a thread, no one answers! I give up. I know I am a good reader, I will stick to that from now on....

Thumbtack · 29/05/2013 14:44

Sorry I pressed post by accident.

I killed a long running thread that asked how posters likes their nicknames shortened . . I put 'a simple thumb will do me' and after that it was tumbleweed.

Maybe I lowered the tone Confused

You always get a reply on this thread - we are the Inthreadibles, trying to make it to 1000 posts. You are welcome to help!

Thumbtack · 29/05/2013 16:16

Oh Lord! Blush zing did you reserve post 500 for yourself? I'd forgotten - so sorry!

Blueandwhitelover · 29/05/2013 17:26

I have just spent three and a half hours doing planning for an hour a day lesson, despite the model plans being in the text book.
However, hopefully this should now mean each week a little tweak and it will be done.
This has made me happy. I am sharing it here rather than starting a thread which may be ignored.

Thumbtack · 29/05/2013 20:05

Oh blue are you in education? Tell me all . .

zing are you still talking to me?

Thumbtack · 29/05/2013 20:09

Thumbtack · 29/05/2013 20:12

Thumbtack · 29/05/2013 20:13

Teehee! I'm thrilled!

Okay I'm really slinking off now . .

Blueandwhitelover · 29/05/2013 20:36

Come back! I was only pouring wine and eating Baileys cheesecake. Ds 1 and 2 plus DS2 girlfriend (who I adore) have just left, Ds3 left Monday. I deserve the calories.

Yes, I am a TA, love my job ;-)

Roomfor1more · 29/05/2013 21:03

That biscuit looks like a Jammie Dodger! Mmmm! Must get those tomorrow while I herd my kids around the supermarket. Dare I even say I might have the babies in a twin trolley Shock

Blue Baileys cheesecake, yum, could go some of that now, though I do have a white Magnum stashed in the freezer. The 2 big kids, 5 & 3 are still outside with dh Confused way past bedtimes but they're trying to coax their newly planted sunflower seeds to grow.... I hope they don't inherit my green fingered-ness because anything green that comes into this house commits hari kari rather than be left die at my hand. I always forget to water stuff Sad Blush The kids survived because they found the route to the fridge lol

Thumbtack · 29/05/2013 21:05

Oh I love cheesecake and I love baileys'

Cheesecake plus Baileys equals Lovely.

That's maths, right?

amazingmumof6 · 29/05/2013 21:07

TT stop being insecure

Roomfor1more · 29/05/2013 21:07

No dear that's an orgasm! lol

ZenOfPetals · 29/05/2013 21:07

Speaking of twin trolleys-

I was at a Brownies meeting, and there are only 11 girls in the group- my twins, their set of twin friends, and one girl from a set of (other two boys) triplets.
