I used to think that I was a good writer. But, since joining MN, I have to face the sad realisation that this is untrue. If I comment on a thread, it dies, and if I start a thread, no one answers! I give up. I know I am a good reader, I will stick to that from now on....

Zen sucking lemons would make you sour, not bitter!Grin

sorry about BFN

I only answer if I can help - otherwise the thread disappears from "unanswered" category and I think then the person gets less chance of being found and helped.

cuddlymoomoo · 26/05/2013 15:07

I've been there too - minimising the mc because it hurts DP so much; hope you have someone to talk to, but, if not, feel free to PM me.

ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 15:08

Zing! There is an unanswered one for you- about going from 3 to 4 DC! I think I will only stick to things I know about from now on- the one calling me a lemonsucker had dampened my resolve

I wonder why prolactin would prevent pg for sure?
bf mums get pg all the time, even if exclusively bf, it can happen.

have you got some tests done Zen?

and tell DH, if he dozen't know he can't support you.

amazingmumof6 · 26/05/2013 15:11

and I'm here for you too. Wink

had MC after DS4, worst thing that's ever happened to me. Sad

ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 15:14

Mine is superhigh. I have to take meds for it, then, when I wanted to BF, was unable, maybe due to the meds. Frustrating

My thread in 'Conception' is going BRILLIANTLY Hmm.

I think I would have preferred it to remain unanswered Grin

Thumbtack · 26/05/2013 18:07

Careful what you wish for cuddly

Am going over to check it out!

I couldn't find the Facebook thread - is it in chat or aibu?

Thumbtack · 26/05/2013 18:26

Oh gosh cuddly - me writing 'careful what you wish for' seems awful now I've read your thread . . Apologies

cuddlymoomoo · 26/05/2013 18:29

You're alright Thumbtack - you seem nice Wink . . .

Thumbtack · 26/05/2013 18:43

Oh cuddly I'm sorry. I've not been back to check your thread yet but if people are being vicious don't take it personally.

Zen hugs. Sorry for you too :( can you talk to your endocrinologist about your meds? Any chance they can help you get the prolactin levels down (or could you take clomid or something?) fertility medicine definitely not my area of any kind of knowledge sadly.

As far as sucking lemons goes ... mmmmmm :) you have reminded me that I have a hidden storage bucket in the car and it's still full of sherbet lemons from our last family road trip :)

ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 19:45

Just back,offtocheckoncuddly's thread...

Lemonstory-my DH is Irish, really rural Irish, and when he was a child,he had ringworm on his face. So a travelling woman advised MIL to rub a lemon on his face and it was done, causing total agony for little DH. Now he hates all natural/ homopathic type medicine

Evening Inthreadibles!
just finished listing stuff on Ebay, so hungry now! dinner time!

If anyone interested, it's been a zero insertion fees fest thisvweekend for items listed for over £1.00 - still on tomorrow!
have to do 10 more, then onto the 99p bunch, they are free to list anyway.

amazingmumof6 · 26/05/2013 22:08

Sorry Space Button isn't working, but it's better this way. don't launch yourself into Space just yet!Grin

TapDancingPimp · 26/05/2013 22:18

My posts get unanswered at such an alarming rate, I sat and went through my account settings to see if I'd hit 'become invisible' by accident!

Even posted in a very small yet popular local chat last night and was completely ignored ffs.

Can anyone hear me? Sad

VixZenFenchell · 26/05/2013 23:05

I can see you Tap - coming through loud and clear.

The Inthreadibles - no thread unanswered, no poster ignored, no question to tricky or simple, daft or deeply profound - we'll have a stab at 'em all!

amazingmumof6 · 27/05/2013 03:27

I can hear you Tap, nice to meet you!

what are your questions? I'm queen of knowledge and creative genius.

(not really, but sounds good)

VixZenFenchell · 27/05/2013 05:26

Quick post to keep thread alive and ticking over. Feels a bit like being in an empty room after a party - dark, echoey, empty - but you know it was buzzing a while ago!

Thumbtack · 27/05/2013 07:04

The Inthreadibles, The Outer Space Button -zing you were on form last night/this morning! Grin

Vix is Mumsnet quite popular in NZ?

Thumbtack · 27/05/2013 07:05

Oh sorry Vix Inthreadibles was you!
