I used to think that I was a good writer. But, since joining MN, I have to face the sad realisation that this is untrue. If I comment on a thread, it dies, and if I start a thread, no one answers! I give up. I know I am a good reader, I will stick to that from now on....

Ha! Maybe so, Thumbtack, maybe so . . .

MrBloomsMarrow · 26/05/2013 08:34

By the way, fennel is vile. Frenchel sounds much nicer. Can I do post 500? I've accepted that this thread is too strong for my powers.

amazingmumof6 · 26/05/2013 09:40

MrBloom considering your rebel tendencies you can not choose a number under 900.

I'm keeping an eye on you!
Grin

Thumbtack · 26/05/2013 09:44

zing I was just thinking that!

We know your devious plans MrBloom, there is no fooling us!

amazingmumof6 · 26/05/2013 09:53

hi cuddlymoo!

what number would you like to choose?
(read a bit upthread)

amazingmumof6 · 26/05/2013 10:08

MrBloom you villain, what have you done with my onions?

Hi cuddlymoo :)

I will try and find an unanswered post in Conception and answer it. Failing that you could ask us? Though not sure how much help we could be.

Weather in NZ today was crisp and bright sunshine - bit cold to start with (definitely winter now!) but soon warmed up in the sun. Clear bright skies - DH & boys & dog went romping on the beach for the afternoon (I was working, on call this weekend) (still am, 11h to go, hoping I can stay in my warm bed!)

amazingmumof6 · 26/05/2013 10:17

beautiful name, I'm in awe!!!!
it suits you perfectly.

Vix ok for short?

amazingmumof6 · 26/05/2013 10:21

not sure what romping means in NZ, but anyone in UK find that snigger worthy or is it just me?

yes moo, we'll help if we can.just ask.

now I burnt the oninonsAngry

VixZenFenchell · 26/05/2013 10:35

It means running around, playing / giggling (and in the dog's case, shaking water all over you). It meant that in the UK 4 years ago! (didn't it?)

Rooting otoh means searching for something in the UK and having sex in NZ. Lots of people laughed hysterically at me during my first week at work when I said I'd lost something but not to worry, I'd have a good root through my bag and find it in 10 ... Blush

cuddlymoo have found your thread and replied. I hope I haven't upset you, definitely wasn't my intention.

(And yes I think Vix is a cool shortie!)

cuddlymoomoo · 26/05/2013 11:19

Thanks Vix - just glad someone has! Have answered the questions you ask on that thread Smile.

Thumbtack · 26/05/2013 11:19

Vixen!

cuddlymoomoo · 26/05/2013 12:44

amazingmumof6 - thank you; it was about IVF procedures when you're ancient (as I am) and how to even start going about it. Vix has helped and someone else has told me I'm mad, so I'm getting there Grin . . .

ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 13:38

VixZen that is really, really, really, super-hero level cool.

Cuddly, I am going to have a read...

All hail the new name VixZenFenchell tres cheek as Del Boy would say! Grin Delighted this thread is still going and I didn't murder it YAY

ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 14:08

I am working on answering "unanswered threads". So far I replied to one about periods, and one about Crocs. But there are a lot about BF and bottles, and I am out of touch with those topics

OP posts:
ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 14:22

I have written to about five now, but have to give up, as I don;t know anything about nappy bags or employment rights. What do you think is worse, no responses or responses from someone who doeZEN't know anything about the topic?

OP posts:
Thumbtack · 26/05/2013 14:41

DoeZENt know about it - very good zen, very good.

Interested in opinion on this, as I don't reply if I do t k ow what I'm talking about ( although I never do really)

ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 14:45

Wise and witty thumtack- can you see the thread about cute girlie photos on FB? It was an unanswered one, so I replied, maybe too quickly, cause now someone called me a lemon sucking control freak!

OP posts:
ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 14:45

cuddlymoomoo · 26/05/2013 14:51

Well, I have people doing sad emoticons and saying they fear for me on mine Zen, so I'd like to thank you for your post.

ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 14:56

Thanks, cuddly. I had a BFN this morning, so am a bit disappointed, but probably should have not replied to the cutegirly photo thread

OP posts:
cuddlymoomoo · 26/05/2013 14:57

I haven't seen that one - will go have a shout at anyone who is being daft Grin

Sorry about the BFN Sad - it's a lonely time, isn't it?

ZenOfPetals · 26/05/2013 15:00

Yes, and I can't tell DH as the MC was really scary for him. He knows we are not using birth control, but I think he thinks the high prolactin will prevent any more pregnancies (and he is probably right)
