I've added you State. Smile

IamtheZombie · 05/10/2012 23:34

I think I've just added you, State.

EmpressOfTheSevenOceans · 06/10/2012 00:33

I think that's almost the circle complete!

ZombTEE · 06/10/2012 07:57

I don't think I have everyone, I'm not seeing the pic State is describing on anyone's Friends List.

My initials are RF with the small boy, large wheelie bin picture, if anyone wants to find me!!

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 06/10/2012 09:12

State's on my friends list now Tee, look for Empress is now friends with State and other people.

StateofConfusion · 06/10/2012 09:22

Morning all,

I know I've got bonkey and empress pretty sure also zombie and dreamy

Ah it is so much nicer to wake up to sheep, chickens and bird song than shouting and loud music. I never miss my neighbours when I'm away.

What's everyone up to today? X

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 06/10/2012 09:24

Sounds lovely State. Got to get DD packed for next week's trip.

PEACE AND QUIET!

ZombTEE · 06/10/2012 09:35

Got her! Just sent you a request State!

StateofConfusion · 06/10/2012 14:08

empress save room for a small ish 5yo boy in that case please, he needs a break from me as much I do him. 6 times I had to tell him to sit down in the trolley whilst walking less than 5ft, its bloody exhausting! He can be so lovely I've no idea what I'm doing wrong atm.

StateofConfusion · 06/10/2012 23:49

Ok the 5yo went to bed without any fuss, ill keep him Grin

I think I've sussed out who everyone is on facebook. What a gorgeous bunch of dcs we have!

Its quiet in here tonight

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 06/10/2012 23:53

OK State, I won't ask DD if he'll fit in her rucksack then.

We went to a city farm today, fed and stroked goats, pigs and rabbits and listened to a heehawing donkey Grin

StateofConfusion · 07/10/2012 10:25

I was insanely excited the first time I heard/saw a donkey 'heehaw' a year or so ago, terrified the kids but I thought it was hilarious. Dp gave me the Hmm look.

Were off to the melton mowbray food and drink festival then off out for lunch.

Ds is back to being a menace everyone said the teenage years would be my payback for the perfect baby/toddler, I think they've come prematurely.

DreamySleepyNightySnoozySnooze · 07/10/2012 10:43

Have fun at the food and drink festival State. It sounds like the kind of place I should avoid at the moment - I will eat anything at the moment. Nothing is safe. I'm so hungry!

We're going out for the day to a place with a bird sanctuary (ostriches, penguins and a toucan among others!) and a playground, so our threenager can run off his bad mood and we can have a nice lunch.

StateofConfusion · 07/10/2012 16:05

We didn't end up at the festival, ticket prices were riduculous, went for a meal instead an ended up waiting stupid amounts of time for everything, the children misbehaved, dp undermined me all boiled down into me telling ds he couldn't do something and dp shouting at me and basically saying ds could do it and we'd deal with his punishment at home, I'm sat in floods of tears at mils, no phone signal to call my Mum and dps flounced off with the dcs. All I want is for them to behave and stop showing me up but he takes the easy route resulting in even worse behaviour from them.
I just wnat to go home now.

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 07/10/2012 16:42

Oh State Sad.

StateofConfusion · 07/10/2012 17:32

Thanks empress

They're all still out, I'm still at mils alone. I am hormonal but I am so upset and cross with dp. His arguement was that we can't be getting cross with them all the time when everyones dealing with his Grandads diagnosis. Umm, I've dealt with exactly the same in my family the children still have to be brought up correctly, its totally irrelevant.
The drive home will be a blast 1 1/2-2hrs in silence. This weekend was meant to be a nice break from being stressed out at home.

StateofConfusion · 07/10/2012 21:17

I'm home I have cookies and I'm setting up camp in the puddle until the men in my life sort it out.

BrianCoxIsUpTheDuff · 07/10/2012 21:31

'ello!

I am really rubbish at being in a quiche, especially as recently I haven't been arsed with even switching my laptop on. I have even been updating FB via text, not bothering to click into it on my phone!

Had a mad couple of weeks, to summarise:

Family wedding, 12pm to 12am - it killed me, I also caught a tummy bug.

3 days of utter misery, pg sickness rammed itself up a gear too and I was miserable.

Then, HA installed new windows, I have done the bare basics with housework for a month, but i had to move things from the windows and clean/clear properly - it took me a full day, it destroyed me, but my new windows look nice and the house is shiny and clean!

THEN, weekend away down south visiting family, fab but exhausting, however - no sickness all weekend! Slight embarrassment of having to explain that I am yet again single, through my own choice but amicably and with a very supportive/excited Ex so it should all be ok. (the scene: 30 family members sitting around chatting, lull in conversation, 1 Aunt pipes up with "oh, I thought we'd meet J this weekend" all eyes turn to me, I have to explain what has happened, the short version, making myself sound utterly unreasonable and unhinged but thankfully they all took it quite well).

So, sickness buggering off BUT, I have caught the cold that is doing the rounds so have a stonking headache and snotty nose.

HOWEVER, all in all am feeling pretty good and happy just focusing on getting past the bleurgh stage and focusing on 16th Nov when I will, hopefully, find out whether baby is of the pink or blue variety Grin

I have added Empress on FB, if anybody else wants to add me please feel free to PM me.

I can't promise I will be back anytime soon, but I will try tomorrow as I am off work. I hope everyone is well.

xx

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 07/10/2012 21:36

Blimey Brian sounds like a lot has gone on!

Hope the cold shifts soon and you continue to feel good!

Any inklings about baby! Me thinks boy! Grin

Will pm you for fb!

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 07/10/2012 21:37

State Big mahoosive hugs!

BrianCoxIsUpTheDuff · 07/10/2012 21:39

everyone is saying boy, I like the idea of another girl but then I think how lovely a little baby boy would be - basically, as long as it is a baby, I'm happy Grin

State agree, you have to be consistent especially when there is upheaval in the family, children feel secure when they know their boundaries.

StateofConfusion · 07/10/2012 21:42

Welcome back brian hope you are getting some rest after all the hectic-ness. Good luck for 16th Nov. I'm back for another scan on the 1st and going to beg the sonographer for another peek as this little monkeys had legs tightly crossed at the last 2 where we could have seen.

Thanks bonks :)

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 07/10/2012 21:42

Well yeah Hmm

I would be a tad concerned if anything else cam outta there ! Shock

Grin
StateofConfusion · 07/10/2012 21:43

Oh and I'm the same, I think ooh I'd like a girl because... Then its but a boy is lovely too. I just need to know!

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 07/10/2012 21:45

Shall we start bets?
