Ds and dd are the same, teachers given so much respect and adoration, I'm pretty much ignored.

Report
StateofConfusion · 11/10/2012 20:52

My dd still has her dummy, so shoot me, she only sleeps well 3/4 nights a week, and that thing helps, it does now live in her bed --and I may have told her not to tell anyone at nursery-- but sod it, I've worked too long and hard to help her sleep as much as she does I am not risking it for anything!

State I had that carseat 8 bloody months before I found the secret stash box!

Report
MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 11/10/2012 20:50

We conquered ours with a sticker chart and the promise of a Cars2 toy at the end. Did the trick! wish I had thought of it sooner .Hmm

Teachers are bloody amazing!

I told ds not to run into the classroom, what does he do? Run into the classroom and jump on the floor. Teacher tell him off, no running since!! Hmm

Oh I'm the same bonkey I chuck rather than scrub they're cheap enough!

See that's what I'm remembering tee my dd was nickname pooskipsi (what carrie says to charlotte in the satc film) as every other poo went from her neck to toes --nothing to do with the fact I let her spend too much time in an activity centre or she screeeeeamed--she also filled her carseat, anyone who had a maxi cosi infant seat, there's a storage pod on the back, no idea but it even got in there! She's a smelly sod too!

After the first few, Bonkey, I took away the Fireman Sam pants grandma gave him and bought white 6 for £2 from Primark, which now get thrown away. I've told him if he has no accidents, at home, child minder or preschool, for a week, he can have the cool ones back.

I'm hoping he's thinking about that!

He also went the entire afternoon with no dummy after we chatted about the fact that Miss Brown, his teacher, thinks he would speak clearer if he didn't have it. Hmm

The power of the teacher!

I agree, I would rather do nappies that poo in pants!

Ds went through a stage of doing it and its bloody gross! Pack of pants was on our shopping list every week for about a month. I refuse to wash them!

I think I did 98% of ds's nappies from birth Shock . Dh is useless in that department!

ZombTEE · 11/10/2012 20:41

I don't think it's that bad, State, when they're little. It's my 3 year old pooing in his pants that's so bad!

Excepting explosive all the way up the back how the hell did something that small poo that much Poos.?

We have to have a bit of mischeif bonks after all that's how the puddle was born.

Horrray for little tee and the potty!

Which has just reminded me I'm heading back into nappies, and the thought makes me want to cry, its been a year since I've changed one. Now can you all tell me its not as bad as I remember?

Chocolate lollys are magic for jabs, I used the same with my big two dreamy

bonkey what have you done Grin

We have conkers here but our estate is built in a forest so there's random trees all over, ds was told at school spiders don't like conkers so he's been carrying two around all week.

Well we didn't actually find any conkers? I'm assuming it is conker time? Maybe the wet summer means there won't be many this year. There's usually loads in our village.

Conkers!! Why have I completely missed that its conker time! Shock I think me and ds will have to go foraging at the weekend!

Ds has come home in tears. Apparently his friend pushed him over and didn't say sorry. He's had a ice pack on his head according to his teacher. :( Bloody kids!

Hope you manage to have your trip tomorrow State!

Raining here too. Ds1 has been for his pre-school vaccinations this afternoon. He was very brave and didn't cry - the spiderman chocolate lolly helped with that! Then we went to the ice-cream parlour for chocolate ice-cream with smarties, and looked for conkers on the way home to burn off all the sugar! We're now snuggled up watching Shrek. Smile

Hope you feel better soon Bonkey.

Glad you and your Dp are talking State. Hope you and Tee get some better sleep tonight.

Excellent news Empress. Grin I'm looking forward to moving into Cake Town. I think we'll be very happy there.
