Except that last night DT1 swallowed a magnet and had to go to Casualty. And then I looked in on DD before I went to bed and commented to DH that her room smelt like cheese. One hour later I woke up to hear him showering her down as she had vomited all over herself. Happy days.

Took mother to see the consultant today about her bone tumour. Shabs you would have lurved him, Mr Yanni from Greece, early 40s...... Anyway he was most reassuring, told her it was nothing to worry herself about, its a common bone growth that mainly teenagers get, as in growing pains........I knew she was going back to her childhood........anyway he said nothing he can do for her, its mainly athritus causing the pain. He asked her where she had had her hip replacement done and who by. Mum: At the Chaucer by a bloody German called Mr Zhar, he put my leg back on wrong, like a german leg. Mr Yanni:Oh really, he is a very good friend of mine, in fact we played cricket together last week, Ill pass on your good wishes to him shall I?
Mum: Well I dont like him, he and his lot killed my school friend during the war, and thats why Ive got a crooked leg!
Storms out with her walker just missing the nurse, My Yanni looked at me and ed.

Hi, haven't been around in ages . Too busy - DTs now 14mo (where did that go?) DT2 walking, DT2 almost there - much energy required. Lots of words, feeding themselves with spoons (we are back to the mess of the very early BLW days - I had got so used to them being realtively neat now...) and FINALLY both sleeping through the night (mostly). So that is helping me with my MN habit life in general.

So where is everyone then? On holiday? Don't take it personally Shabs!

My nephew, Nathan and his partner are getting married today remember they had Grace on New Years Eve? Just my brother and his DW, Becki's Mum (and as my sarcastic brother said) her girlfriend from Lesbos!!

They want to get married but have zero funds. So the two sets of parents have arranged the wedding, the weekend break (Grace is staying with my brother and his DW) and they are taking them for a meal afterwards.

LOL, LOL I think its wonderful. My parents are quietly not very amused. Nathan has always been 'different' he will not be swayed by anything...once his mind is made up he will do what he wants.
