Thanks Trips

Nah I am not brave, not at all. Shelley is very independent - we dont see each other very often as she is so busy with her lovely family. We often talk very late at night on Facebook and put the world to rights!!!

hello ladies, long time no see. Have been in London for a wedding party on Sat night, then to Ragdale Hall for 2 nights with my bestest friend. Her boyfriend bought her a voucher for her and a friend so I didnt even have to pay for it! It was absolute bliss....would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a proper get away from it chill, you spend the whole time in your dressing gown! Pricy but when you see all teh food you get and the stuff thats included it seems not quite so bad. Well thats what I told DH as have booked to go back end of September.....

Oooo, lovely HM I like your reasoning to DH. You'll have to spend next week being the most chilled out and happy you've ever been, then gradually get more grumpy - that way he'll be desperate to send you there more often! Worked for me one year when I went to a women's conference where they talked about good marriages needing more sex - DH has been very insistent that I go there each year since!

trips - Yucky day. Poor you, hope he's back soon.

We had a hospital day here too - DT1 has been reeeally sleepy the last few days and has lost his appetite again. We rang the docs at Manchester but they said just to take him to the local hospital for tests so he was there all day and the end result is that bloods and everything are fine, it's probably (please God!) just a big change to his system as his steroids have reduced, so they've decided to up them again for a bit and reduce them again more gradually this time.

Phew!

triplets · 15/07/2010 22:20

Oh Estar.........poor you, I can really feel for you.............
Well H is in until at least Mon, I didnt go over today as I was sooo tired and headachey and I was sure anyway they would let him out. In the end I didnt get to speak to him until gone 7pm. It seems that the infection has come from the picc line, but they want more tests. He is is a room of is own, no contact allowed with other patients, only bottled water, only hot food, no fruit etc and they have put a catheter in, poor thing. He is very fed up.I am now worried as next week some form of chemo must go ahead, only 1 week delay is allowed. But they have had to take out the picc line and oncology say he must have one for chemo, they won`t use a cannula. It just seems to go on and on. Er Shabs, what does Lew say if he sits on Derksters knee
