I know what I would do.

  1. Buy a 5 bedroom house so we all get our own room, big garden so James could have a dog.
  1. Get private medical insurance so we never again have to await scans and results.
  1. Buy Shabs a villa in Faliraki.
  1. Throw a big party for all my lovely lovely mad mums on here.
  1. Treat myself to highlights.
  1. Buy bags and bags of M&S choccy nuts!

Evening all,
have been away for the weekend at a family do in Kent, babies now in bed - hoorah!

OOhhhh I know what I was going to say, weren't there a couple of you who are wheat/gluten free etc? Well, on my cheapo, short or not long out of date wholesale website, they have some GF stuff like chocolate cake mixes, fruit loaf etc. worth a look perhaps: here

DH and I had our 5th WEdding anniversary this weekend too, neither of us are desperately romantic so that passed in a pretty lame stylie. Ho hum.

oooggs · 19/07/2009 21:39

frumpygrumpy · 19/07/2009 22:13

Hi girls, I'm in Mallorca on DPs laptop

We left the house at 4am on Saturday morning, I didn't make it to bed from Friday, got delayed for hours, finally got to bed late on Saturday night after being up for over 40 hours!!!!!!! But I didn't care because I met Bruce

Its beautiful here. I already feel I am unwinding a year of upwinding.

Trips I'd be the same and I didn't lose Matthew personally, only by proxy. But, like all things new, we think it will never be ok...........and one day it kisses you on the back of the neck and surprises you with the gentle embrace of a strange mixture of wisdom and brand new. Keep walking the line, it will come xxxxxx. How far can you travel? I am reading a mag with an adorable few self catering places, cumbria, lake district, yorkshire.......any good? Must admit I thought of you as I was reading it. Might not be free over Summer but maybe you could book ahead for halfterm?

Shabs I get your pain The owner of this villa and his son are the best fantasy I've ever had I agree with Trips, GET IN THE POOL, he will only see you from the head up and

frumpygrumpy · 19/07/2009 22:17

TSF, hi!, you make me laugh you do.

BTW girls, what 'parents at the concert' bombing? Have I missed something?

tkband3 · 20/07/2009 08:27

We're off to Norfolk for a week today...don't think we'll be sunning ourselves like FG and Shabs though - forecast's not looking too clever, but it'll be fun and relaxing (for everyone else - for me, it's just doing my usual mummy job in different surroundings ).

Anyway, must get on...still got a pile of ironing to do, got to buy vouchers for DTs' teachers, pack clothes, food, sheets, towels, toys, wet weather stuff etc, dog, DH...must go, see you all in a week.....

TeaSleepFood · 20/07/2009 08:35

TKB - what's the going rate for teachers? Do you have to do this every year or just leaving ones? I don't remember any of this when I was a nipper!

FG - thank you

Did you notice the way that I didn't fill up the paddling pool - I've seen the forecast and figure it will do itself.

triplets · 20/07/2009 09:32

Morning all! Buenos Dias FG! I am very of you being in Mallorca, which resort? I have just had 3 e-mails from Puerto Pollensa, thinking we might go there, still asking for 1300 euros a week! Think honestly I wouldnt mind staying in uk, doing a mini tour for 3 weeks,Lake District, Yorkshire even Scotland but has to be something there for kids to do and I would like my hot tub! Really dont feel like queing up at airports, sorry about your delay FG but have a great time! Shabs........have you skinny dipped with the handsome one yet? Got a house full of kids, Beccas friend did a sleepover after the circus, H gone off to work and I should be ironing!! Back later xx
