I know what I would do.

  1. Buy a 5 bedroom house so we all get our own room, big garden so James could have a dog.
  1. Get private medical insurance so we never again have to await scans and results.
  1. Buy Shabs a villa in Faliraki.
  1. Throw a big party for all my lovely lovely mad mums on here.
  1. Treat myself to highlights.
  1. Buy bags and bags of M&S choccy nuts!

Merly I totally agree with you!

I kept putting it on and then I noticed what must have been his coffin right in front of the stage!!!!!!!! Now I know that is not funny but I guffawed loud and proud....Im sick of hearing every last detail. I loved MJ when he was a little lad in the Jackson Five - but he became so barking mad that he was too eccentric and weird to even get away with living in Bolton.

A fantastic example to all young girls and boys that being famous (cause they all want to be famous) at a young age is, quite possibly, the craziest thing ever....

MERLYPUSS · 07/07/2009 22:03

Hey you lot . Have any of you got a Phil and Teds for your twinnies? OH mentioned trading in the Nipper.

ellac · 07/07/2009 22:04

I would buy my twin boys helmets for their flat spots on their heads.
buy a big house near the sea
buy a ford s-max (top of the range obviously)

shabster · 07/07/2009 23:22

snigger, Matt didnt sing Bailamos he sang By the balls

Oooooooooooooooooh this young man shouldnt be allowed out - or near menopausal grandmas!!

frumpygrumpy · 07/07/2009 23:26

Ah now its a good thing we ain't all carved from the same bit bark

See me? I loved it! Every bit of schmultz filled hoohah. One man's meat is another man's poison, and just as well xxx. Michael Jackson was totally barking mad in his later life......but IMHO we all go a bit like that. I certainly did after I reached age 32. And he was more than entitled to it.

The American people do schmultz well. But IMHO it was totally appropriate. We only see a legend once in a lifetime and he remains.....a legend. Not a word I would use lightly. To coin a Scottish song......"we'll never see his like again". I sat with a gin and watched it all, every last minute. There were a few fuckwittage moments but generally I thought it was totally appropriate.

Long ago, I lost my copy of the Thriller LP. I literally played it to death. I kept the cover for years but it was empty because the contents literally fell apart from overplay The Christmas I got it, I played it non-stop to the point that my brothers and my mum and dad made me go out to the garage if I wanted to play it. I spent all of January and most of February in the garage

He long lost his fashionable status to like him. But he remains a legend. Misunderstood. And IMHO....underrated.

I don't mean to sound like I am on a soapbox

HM, I served dinner at 10.04pm and just finished cleaning up. Hope you got the bed made Nice to see you posting!

frumpygrumpy · 07/07/2009 23:52

I don't know. You work your fingers to the bone, tippy tappying away, and then some come along and think they can drip feed us.

shabster · 08/07/2009 06:46

Frumpster LOL!! This time next Wednesday we will, no doubt, still be going through security checks at Manchester Airport! We fly at 8am next Wednesday. I am beyond giddy.

RUBESTER......OH RUBESTER.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUBESTER Hope you have a wonderful day. With gallons of love from all at Shabster Towers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

tkband3 · 08/07/2009 15:18

Not sure about the Catherine Tate comparison - I think she's a bit more pointy than me (not to mention a lot funnier, if you like that kind of thing...) .

And it's lovely to hear I look serene in photos - amazing how the reality is sooooo different .

Happy Birthday Ruby for you

HM, DH and I nearly always eat about 9pm. By the time girls are in bed and I've cooked something, it's normally about then (unless I've been very organised and cooked something ahead...which I'm supposed to be doing now - making a chilli for girls' tea and mine and DH's dinner later, but instead I'm here...).

We've just had an hour-long power cut, which meant I couldn't hoover/iron/MN . Fortunately it's back on now so I can hoover iron MN again .

Tomorrow is my Matthews birthday, he will be 30 and tonight I want to cry

No package FG and Shabs? I have written to the Royal Mail, somehting is going on, I am so upset

Been back to the docs today about this persistant soreness in my side. She went all through the ct and barium results with me to reassure me there is nothing sinister, but its so sore, so she is sending me for a blood test to check for coeliac disease.
Kids got they experience day at their new school tomorrow, they are going to walk by themselves, don`t need me they have to be out the door by 8am, that will be a shock to Rebecca! Wish something exciting would happen............

He was born at 05.17am, my waters broke at home at midnight, first baby, a week early, Harry was on the ferry working nights! Got to the hospital in the back of my brothers bright orange mini! At 2am was given 2 huge sleeping pills as they said the contractions were very mild, probably things would start happening around midday, get some sleep! By 4am I was pushing, Harry arrives and at 5am they decide to get me into the delivery room. Next thing I know I am blotto, Harry is sent out and its an emergency forceps delivery. I hadnt a clue! I woke up in a ward on my own at 09.30am, a cleaner was sweeping under my bed. "Ere" she said. "You ad a baby bot this morning dint yer". "I dont know" I said and burst into tears. Finally a nurse came in and asked me why I was crying, she said he was in the special care unit as his birth had been to hurried and traumatic and I could get up and go and see him at 11am! He was so long and perfect and mine He stayed in there for 6 days and I didnt get to hold him for 4 days. I remember it all. So now I have just come back from the cemetery, Harry after 10 mins wanted to go, I could see that. I stayed and met my old friend I used to work with, her beautiful daughter died three years ago, aged 34 from breast cancer, so we had a good hug. Harry went off to his allotment, taken his lunch so I am by myself, kids on their experience day at their new school.Always feel as though we should do something to mark the day, 30 seems like a mile stone to me, cant believe it. Sun was shining now its clouding over, so think I`ll bake him a cake

Awwwww Trips - dont think I knew the story of Matthews birth - my Danny was forceps as well!!

I love the idea of a special birthday cake - was going to suggest that but didn't want to upset you. I agree - 30 is a very special birthday

Will hold you close today, as always xxx

Happy, Happy Birthday Matthew

triplets · 09/07/2009 12:14

Thanks Shabs, still no packet? Something very odd is going on, its to much of a coincidence now, you and Frumpster, posted same time, a week ago today. Sat here wasting time really, trying to find us a holiday if we can get away, difficult to know what to do as we need something to keep the trio amused but something for us, just to go lying on a beach for two weeks is a no no, H still got Gladys, so no swimming, stripping off, and I get bored, like to explore and have something to do. Any ideas anyone? Uk or France probably.
