I know what I would do.

  1. Buy a 5 bedroom house so we all get our own room, big garden so James could have a dog.
  1. Get private medical insurance so we never again have to await scans and results.
  1. Buy Shabs a villa in Faliraki.
  1. Throw a big party for all my lovely lovely mad mums on here.
  1. Treat myself to highlights.
  1. Buy bags and bags of M&S choccy nuts!

Happy belated birthday Lew.

Just when I think it's safe to venture back out there's measles going around ds1's school. I'll probably be housebound with that for another 2 mths. Aghhhhhh. I've rushed dt1 to the gp for MMR, dt2 had his ages ago but she's always been too poorly to be done. Even today she has a rotten cold. She didn't want to go to town after her jabs, "go home mummy, no ball pip, lady hurt my legs". She was so brave, just a few tears.

Nurse was too busy to vaccinate prince who has not had even his 12wk jabs yet. He has appt on Monday. DD1 has gone to school today for a taster session, they'll drop her to nursery after lunch. She dressed up in school uniform and looked so big and small at the same time.
My dcs are growing up so fast.

I've been miserable of late, actually I've been a miserable sod for ages. Can't think of a way out of the doldrums that doesn't involve drugs so I just keep burying my head in the sand about it all but I'll have to take action soon. I need a holiday really but it's just not an option.

Oh my name change, I was bored with being so unpixi like I needed a change. I wanted to be 'neesha' as when dts watch postman pat that's what they run around giggling and calling me, but it was taken so I'm using my old work nickname instead.

Hello to all the pro twin mums on here.

I am 29wks pg with b/g twins and with one DD of one and a half.

Would anyone like to sell me their old EZ2 nurse foam pillow and/or double breast pump and/or a weego twin sling?

Am hanging between wanting to be mega prepared and not wanting to buy a load of overpriced rubbish which will never be used like I did with DD.

Heard these are all more or less must haves though....at least the first two anyway....

shabster · 09/06/2009 21:03

ROFL Rubester - I had no idea what any of them were either!!!! It was all 'fireguards across the coal fire' 'terry nappies' 'horlicks in the last bottle of the day' in my day!!! Oh aye and 'not lifting your arms above your head when pregnant - in case the cord went round the babies neck!!!!

shabster · 10/06/2009 09:18

before you all lift up your phones to ring childline - I DID NOT put Horlicks in the last bottle - even though my Nan told me I had to.

triplets · 10/06/2009 09:20

Done Momma! Morning all!
Dy ever wonder what happened to long hot summers? Dy ever wonder how one minute its blue skies and sun, the next its black and raining?

Morning all. Nothing to report here. Baby has stayed out of fishtank, not broken anymore bones or been locked in any small spaces.

I do think however that a small nuclear device may have been detonated somewhere in the house. Can't think of any other reason for the mess. I'll just have a few more brews and then I'll think about tackling it.
