D'y ever wonder why we wash towels if we only use them after baths?

I know there was no time and I feel all weighed down with the responsibility of it all, but here we are ladies, a new home...

Hiya Frumpster

Would love to meet up with Trips in the Summer time - we could talk a glass eye to sleep between us Sadly it always comes down to money - and the total lack of it.

The Faliraki fund is not too bad almost paid for the holiday - now we have to start with the spends!!! I do know it is worth 50 weeks of tightning the belt and not having any 'fun' money but ooooooooohhhh sometimes I would love a splurge

Its a beautiful day here as well...Lew is coming to see us later to pick up his parcel from Grandma Peace - yesterday he took 3 steps unaided - without the help of any safety net.

great as Thea now has a pool for the kids, but loads to do in the area and only 30 mins from Calais. The only down side is we are taking Harry`s sister and bil, he can be a PITA! H had a rotten day yesterday with the chemo, so hoping this little break will cheer him up. We had visitors last night Shabs fron Bolton, that wore H out! Today I have my mum here for lunch, then sil and bil coming at 6pm to stay the night then off tomorrow at 8am!
FG My pain is alot better since I had the enema! No results yet.
Have a fun day everyone

Momma, I switched to Alpro soya yoghurt for our smoothies and nobody noticed so......fingers crossed! Never heard of Oatly but will keep an eye out. The cheese sounds good, DT2 loves cream cheese with garlic and loves porridge so that is a good tip. What do you do when you want to make fish pie or other things with normal cheese?

Trips, that sounds heaven! Enjoy! We will think of you and wish for sunny weather x.

We had a great afternoon at the beach. We took a picnic and messed around with kites and ran up and down the big hill next to the beach and the kids rolled down. Everyone came home filthy but happy. Makes such a big difference now they are of an age we can let them wander a bit. We even managed a quick coffee in the car while the kids took care of each other. I see light.... Kids have been washed to within an inch of scrupulous and are eating bowls of pasta watching Home Alone And I have wine, bliss!

Momma - you could always come here. If nice weather the dcs could play outside on the ride-on toys. There's plenty to go around.

Ruby of Paris. I have yet to go, although have been to eurodisney . Becky Falls is lovely, I've never been before and wondered just how child friendly would it be. Since we only had two with us today (dt2 and ds3) we managed quite well. We did the easy trail then back for the intermediate one. We got some looks for boulder scrambling with the dcs on our backs, but hey, we'd paid to go in, we weren't going to miss out on all the fun .

duckyfuzz · 13/04/2009 20:54

welcome back ruby, you attention seeker you and hello pixi, sorry to hear about the pox, its miserable

had a lovely week in bonnie scotland last week (miles away from FG so she didn't get too scared) v relaxed and DTs woke up every day giggling and hardly stopped all week

now to catch up on more than the last 24 hours...
