I love Raven too! Morning all, Shabs wot r u doing on ere when you are in soul charge of my honourary grandson I loved the pics, those eyes and that huge smile just adorable, lucky you. I have just got in from school, dropped kids off at 9am and I walked back all the way along the beach, took me over two hours instead of 30 mins! Talk talk talk! Its the most beautiful day so I do not feel guilty and I did spend all Sunday afternoon gutting the boys room. My goal this week is to sort out photos, I have 100`s, lots of empty albums. keep putting it off as they make me sad, but something is telling me to get on with it. My side is the same, but if I keep busy I am not thinking of it. Supposed to have heard today either by e-mail or letter which school the kids have got in to, nothing so far, post has been, does nobody want them? Hope you and Lew are having fun Shabs

We all survived our first day Ems just headed home with Lew. She had a few crys at work and Lew had one major one here. Tomorrow is just another day!!

Ruby, my DD1 is just getting into CBBC (now she's 8) and she likes Raven. I'll be out at that time today but will tune in as soon as we get home. I remember you saying she was up near me.........Dundee? Aberdeen?

Shabs, remember to sleep when the baby does! I'm sure it will be up and down but, for the most part, fab!

Trips, must be the season.......I dug out all my old camcorder film. Had DD1 on it from when she was 17months (that's when we got the camera). I had forgotten just how pronounced her lisp was then (its gone now) it was so funny. She was a bit shocked seeing herself! Photos are my therapy. I love photographs. Always have. I used to pour over my gran's little box of black and white snaps and I'm still the same. Maybe it will bring some sadness but it might also bring some memories that don't hurt so much to remember. I think its lovely you got the calling for it. Must be your lovely Matthew .

frumpygrumpy · 02/03/2009 14:45

Shabs, so glad. This might just be a great thing for her. Mind you, I'd have been just as upset........

frumpygrumpy · 02/03/2009 14:48

Momma, no reins here sorry. But someone did.........I remember it 'well'.......they were going to send them on to another of our brood.........was it dingdong? Can't remember now.....

shabster · 02/03/2009 14:50

They both left with big smiles on their faces - managed to get him to have his morning milk and eat all his dinner...also walked him round the block to get him to sleep - think we all did ok today. By Friday I am hoping we will be wondering what we were all so nervous for

Ems is very good at her job and I think it will be great for her - still early days xx

Evening all, just a flying visit before ITNG is on and peace can reign.
Shabs - I think TOm sounds lovely and a very sensible young man. Glad you had a good time with Lew.

I didn't know you can get twin reins Hoochie, I've just ordered the animal daysacks from Littlelife as I liked the handle idea!

How was the party Rubester? Did you sashay in and knock 'em dead? Or was it more bed by 10 and aching feet?

Anyone seen Neddie lately?

TeaSleepFood · 02/03/2009 21:31

Sorry to intrude but I've been told that here on the 'pants-thread is where I'll find encouraging twin mummies with advice-a-plenty on breastfeeding twins...?

My girls are 17 weeks now and b.feeding is getting stressful and generally going wrong. I'm in need of some alcohol help, please.

Staggering off to bed now before next feed but will check in tomorrow. Thank you!

shabster · 02/03/2009 22:10

Welcome to the nut house Charlie - I only managed 3 weeks of breast feeding with my twin boys - born in 1981!! There are loads of clever devils on here who will be able to offer advice. xxxx

Hi Charlie, I BF twins to 11 months and it was definately a roller coaster. They are 15 months now but it's not so long ago that I can't remember!
Please feel free to CAT me if you want to chat. What is the difficulty at the mo' if you don't mind me asking?

Morning other ladies

TeaSleepFood · 03/03/2009 08:32

Oh, Charlie - congrats on the twins! And well done for BF'ing!
