frumpygrumpy · 01/03/2009 20:57

I think I have had a glass of wine that I shouldn't have...... Best do the Tesco online shop and hit hte sack before I type daft stuff. Got an email from my first boyfriends dad. Remember he died last August? His baby boy just turned one and he's so handsome. And it unjust that his daddy can't see him looking like that. What a pile of shite. Why would we care? Why would I care? Why should we? Its done and done and done again. There we go. Right.........

What a piggin' day. My mum and dad came twice to visit!! Once in the morning then again in the afternoon when they knew Lew, Dan and Em were here They are going to 'help' me to look after him Mum is 75 today and Dad is almost 77!!!

Two really undesirable lads who Tom has known for years came and called for him. Then another 3 came as well. All in his little bedroom playing on the PS2. Then they decide to go out. With bad thoughts running through my mind I told Tom 'If they do anything that you know is wrong come home.' They had been gone about half an hour and Tom came running home. They were playing 'knock a door run' on the estate where they all live.....and in Toms own words 'Mum they were knocking on all the old peoples houses and frightening them - they havent got a brain cell between them.'

When he turned to come home one of them shouted 'Thats right Tom run home to your Mummy.' He turned back and said 'At least I have a Mum who loves me and actually lives in the same house as me' 3 of the 5 boys mums have left home and left the kids with their dads!!!

Hiya Momma - how are you doing?

frumpygrumpy · 01/03/2009 22:03

good for Tom Shabs, good for him!!!! Its tough but he knows right from wrong and this will get him to the right places in life. Tom is in the lucky position (like me and my brothers were) to be surrounded by grandparents at an age when loads of young people don't have their grandparents. In our youth, neither me nor my brothers would ever do anything to old folks except help them and see them right because we had our own old folks who were/are just great fun and who love us heaps and who we had heaps of fun with.

Good for him. And those boys know it.

shabster · 01/03/2009 22:06

Thanks Frumpster - It takes all my courage to allow him to go to play on the estate with them - they have to cross two main roads and it really 'knocks me bandy' when he sets off with them. I imagine the very worst scenario. I was so proud of him for coming home and then realised he had crossed the two roads on his own - oh shite kids are so scary. xx

frumpygrumpy · 01/03/2009 22:12

Its ok Shabs, he knows the roads and he is only going to learn properly by doing it alone. I hate it for you though. Next Monday my DD1 goes away with school for a night and I am WETTING myself. She has to stay in a twin room and lock herself in. I don't like it.

frumpygrumpy · 01/03/2009 22:16

I must go to bed. The tesco shop is done and I'm up at 5am.......... Night all xxxxxx.
